It’s a tiny hotel and for me it was too little the room for 4 people but it was super clean and the staff help us to bring our bags to our room, so I do appreciate that. There was coffee and water and they clean our room everyday, so I found it great!

There is no elevator We paid for 5 nights and it said “includes taxes and fees” but they charged us €5 per person and per day, so at the end we had to pay €110 additional for us for the 5 nights we stayed there. It was unexpected and then total price was not really what we paid through booking.

This place is great, and I would absolutely book it again. We stayed one night because we had to catch an early train, and I was happy to see a staff member on-site that early in the morning. We couldn’t figure out how to turn on the AC, but honestly, if we really needed it, we would’ve just gone downstairs and asked. The hotel was super clean, the staff was friendly, and it's just two stoplights from the metro—or a 14-minute walk to Gare du Nord. Super convenient!

The only reason I took some points off: we knew it was a stairs-only hotel... but of course, we were placed on the highest floor. The front desk clerk said it was noted, but the “stairs-only” info is buried at the very bottom of the listing. And yes—the stairs are narrow, y’all.

Nice modern hotel with everything you need. For the price point, it's great value for money and the breakfast offering was simple but delicious and good value. The bed was also very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and kindly reserved a 1st floor room because of my mum's mobility issues. It's also very easy to travel around Paris from here via bus and metro, and very close to Gare du Nord. I had a great long weekend! I'm aware of people saying it's a bad area etc., it's completely fair and at night many people would feel intimidated by the activity around the metro station. I think it also depends on your mindset when you arrive. If you were looking for the romantic stereotype of Paris, it's not for you. If you've lived in a major city before, and have a more realistic and functional view of travel accommodation, it's a great option.

I slept well, but it is noisy from the outside and neighbouring rooms. Longer term it might be worth looking at soundproofing.

Easily accessible by train or metro. If you’re coming from Gare du Nord, it’s perfect! Montmartre is also just a 10min walk away! The staff is friendly, room was big and clean. (Shout out to the receptionist lady with blonde hair and a piercing! You were wonderful!) I saw all kinds of reviews prior to staying over, but I wouldn’t say they are being fair since most people mention things that are outside of hotel’s control. Most importantly, I didn’t take any r@cist reviews to heart. Yes, the hotel is in a very lively neighbourhood filled with different cultures. However, we have never felt unsafe during our stay and no one had been weird towards us. You do come across some interesting people late at night, but this is common in every big capital and they didn’t bother us. Yes, there is no elevator, but that’s fine. The stairs were charming and we joked about it during our stay. Breakfast options were small, but very filling! Everything was clean and neat. So truly nothing to complain about.

The staff was fantastic and very helpful. Helped us book a airport shuttle upon check in. Staff helped us carry our bags down the stairs and to the shuttle. The breakfast was lovely with a good variety. Location was great except for the metro where there were some unsavory people hanging around but other then that it was wonderful.

The stairs were a problem as they are very steep. Wouldn’t stay there if you were unable to carry suitcases up lots of stairs.

We got upgraded to the prestige room, which was nice and comfortable. It was on the 1st floor so that was a relief with the stairs. The staff were all really nice for the one night we were there. Very quick to respond to messages also

The street was super noisy but was expecting that in Paris it didn’t bother us that much. I was glad I read all the reviews about the neighbourhood as it prepared us. In saying that we had no one approach us or hassle us in any way. I was nervous taking my 2 children there after reading reviews but we just made sure not to out at dark.

The location is excellent. 2 min walk from Metro station and 10 min walk from Gare du Nord. A lot of shops / restaurants nearby which is very convenient On the other hand, given it is only a 3-star hotel, the facilities provided is very basic, but it is clean and the building is recently renovated. The room is air-conditioned which was very good because the weather was very hot during my stay (33C)

There is no lift in the hotel. If you carry heavy luggage or you are not strong enough, climbing up the stairs will your luggage will be painful.

Great location, near metro and bus station, with good connections and lines! There was a little bit suspicious people, but no one will attack you, and the police officers were there almost every night, so no need to worry.. it wasn’t noisy at all, we were sleeping as lambs! 😊 rooms are a little small, but you’re not gonna play football match in it, you just need it to sleep and dress.. sink is ok, it is small, but you can use it if you know how you wan’t be splashing around! 😄 bed was very comfotrable, which is most important! Breakfast was very delicious.. stuff very kind and friendly! Smells great, clean towels and floors every day!

I only have good things to say about my stay here. After reading some reviews here you would think this is a bad hotel but my experience was absolutely fine. As for the price, this is Paris and for it's location it is reasonable compared to other hotels. The reception and cleaning staff were lovely and the hotel was clean and well kept. I saw them helping multiple guests during my stay. The rooms were newly and nicely decorated. We are fit so the stairs didn't bother us and you are in Paris - there are plenty of stairs and walking to be done naturally. I didn't get the breakfast so cannot speak on that. Yes the immediate area isn't somewhere you'd want to hang around in, but I never felt unsafe. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which takes you to the Eiffel tower and a few minutes walk you're in the prettier areas of Montmartre. However, the noise of the street is audible with the window shut and I woke up some nights with outside activities which is not the fault of the hotel. I was on the 4th floor. Even with the noise from outside, I would stay at this hotel again for its location to Gare du Nord station. I cannot comment on the bad reviews here, but some people can expect too much/more and probably have not researched the hotel/area well enough before coming and finding this does not suit them. Also for the tourist tax, this was paid during my booking. When I checked in I sent them a confirmation of my booking and the tax paid to their email address so I didn't pay twice. I also got my deposit back the same day later on. No issues with this at all like some others have written here in reviews. Be kind to one another 🙂

The street noise can be heard.

Very clean and the staff was very helpful and kind. The location is perfect.

Breakfast could be organized better and have a little more sustenance. Hot water Kettle in the rooms and hanger for towels would have been great. The sound from the stairs was very loud. I had to get new wifi passwords a few times.
