Beautiful room with window, AC, double bed with 3 pillows and quiet location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location close to train and metro stations. Wonderful bakery across the street. Great FREE wifi. Free coffee all day. Convenient elevator. Nice family neighbourhood. Close to Montmarte Sacre Couer Basilica and the Pigalle street. Wonderful small restaurants int eh area. Less tourists around. Great value for the price and location. Will return again for sure when in PARIS.

Shower was small, no closet or hangers to hang my clothes.

Very central location and close to public transport. The cleaning services were very professional as every day the room is cleaned spotless. The staff was friendly and helpful, spoke english, bar next to the hotel is nice. Recommended as a short stay in Paris.

The roof was slanted in our room which made only half of the space usable, we were not notified beforehand. No space in the bathroom to put things (table/shelf), also the bathroom door kept opening and was very thin (it's a sliding door). At night there were lots of dripping sounds and the pipes were clanking. Also the AC would not cool properly.

I was on one of the higher floors which had windows that opened up to the rooftops of Paris. Such character and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The room was a good size, as was the bathroom. Very comfortable bed, and woke up to thunder storms that I could open those windows to.

The neighbors or upstairs had their music on extremely loud, so made it not as pleasant when first arriving. But luckily had been turned down when it came to later hours thank goodness. Also, I still haven’t received my deposit back as it’s been over a month, it was released on their end it seems, but unfortunately I never received it.

I loved staying at the Hotel Marena mainly because it is very well located and the price/quality ratio for what you get is great! Rue des Martyrs which is a lovely street with many shops, restaurants and bakeries is a short walk away, you have several metro stations and bus stops close to the hotel as well. But the best advantage of the hotel is definitely staff - Eric went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, he was super friendly and in general a warm person. The other guy who I don't know the name of checking me out early in the morning was also super helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel for your next trip to Paris!

Probably the only little thing is the lack of noise isolation (you can here people speaking in the corridor clearly) but I'd lived in Paris for 8 years before and have never had it any other way - it's just one of those Parisians things :) Other than that - nothing to complain about!

Such a lovely hotel in a lovely neighborhood - walking distance to the beautiful Montmartre and close access to the metro. The room was really comfy and nicely cooled down with AC (that u can control), which was perfect for our summer stay. The staff was very friendly and made us feel really welcome. Will return again on my next visit to Paris!

I love everything. I can’t forget about the playlist they were playing when I arrived. When I opened the door and the guy from the reception smiled, the playlist made me feel relaxed, calm and happy and the place looked really nice and comfortable I realized that I took the best choice to stay in Paris. Then when I got my room card I couldn’t guess that it was going to be more perfect than it already was. The room was really beautiful and comfortable and the tub was a nice detail. The location is good. They guy from the reception was really lovely and helpful. I’m sure he loves his job. This place exceeded all my expectations!

I can’t complain about anything just to stay only one night there.

The staff is very welcoming and friendly . We arrived to Paris at 9 am but our check in was until 3 pm. The hotel was able to keep our luggage while we went out until check in time and the same for our check out process. Our room was tidy and comfortable with nice opening windows and view. The location was perfect as there were a variety of shops and restaurants nearby and the train station was a 10 minute walk away. Overall excellent services as they were very accommodating.

Excellent staff, very friendly and accommodating. Also great AC. Found to easy to get to all my tourist activities and back to Gare de L’Est when I was leaving, only about a 15 minute walk downhill.

Fairly noisy hearing people come and go from their rooms. I woke up at midnight one of the nights, because it sounded like someone was trying to enter my room, but it was just the adjacent door.

The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. The room was clean, enough space for two people, and wifi was stable, didn't have problem working. The only problem was the noise from the hallway although we didn't hear anything from the other rooms :) One thing everyone should keep in mind is a deposit you pay when booking. That is required to confirm your booking. The deposit is returned to your account upon check out. It takes 3-7 days but eventually you get your money back.

It was a clean place, with a big enough bathroom and a small balcony door - so I could open the door when I didn’t want to use the air conditioning. The staff was super helpful and I would definitely come back to stay here. Public transport was close by and easily accessible to most parts of the city.

Room was towards the smaller side but enough for 1 person, maybe 2. There were some mosquitoes.
