I was on one of the higher floors which had windows that opened up to the rooftops of Paris. Such character and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The room was a good size, as was the bathroom. Very comfortable bed, and woke up to thunder storms that I could open those windows to.

The neighbors or upstairs had their music on extremely loud, so made it not as pleasant when first arriving. But luckily had been turned down when it came to later hours thank goodness. Also, I still haven’t received my deposit back as it’s been over a month, it was released on their end it seems, but unfortunately I never received it.

Very central location and close to public transport. The cleaning services were very professional as every day the room is cleaned spotless. The staff was friendly and helpful, spoke english, bar next to the hotel is nice. Recommended as a short stay in Paris.

The roof was slanted in our room which made only half of the space usable, we were not notified beforehand. No space in the bathroom to put things (table/shelf), also the bathroom door kept opening and was very thin (it's a sliding door). At night there were lots of dripping sounds and the pipes were clanking. Also the AC would not cool properly.

I loved staying at the Hotel Marena mainly because it is very well located and the price/quality ratio for what you get is great! Rue des Martyrs which is a lovely street with many shops, restaurants and bakeries is a short walk away, you have several metro stations and bus stops close to the hotel as well. But the best advantage of the hotel is definitely staff - Eric went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, he was super friendly and in general a warm person. The other guy who I don't know the name of checking me out early in the morning was also super helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel for your next trip to Paris!

Probably the only little thing is the lack of noise isolation (you can here people speaking in the corridor clearly) but I'd lived in Paris for 8 years before and have never had it any other way - it's just one of those Parisians things :) Other than that - nothing to complain about!

I love everything. I can’t forget about the playlist they were playing when I arrived. When I opened the door and the guy from the reception smiled, the playlist made me feel relaxed, calm and happy and the place looked really nice and comfortable I realized that I took the best choice to stay in Paris. Then when I got my room card I couldn’t guess that it was going to be more perfect than it already was. The room was really beautiful and comfortable and the tub was a nice detail. The location is good. They guy from the reception was really lovely and helpful. I’m sure he loves his job. This place exceeded all my expectations!

I can’t complain about anything just to stay only one night there.

The staff is very welcoming and friendly . We arrived to Paris at 9 am but our check in was until 3 pm. The hotel was able to keep our luggage while we went out until check in time and the same for our check out process. Our room was tidy and comfortable with nice opening windows and view. The location was perfect as there were a variety of shops and restaurants nearby and the train station was a 10 minute walk away. Overall excellent services as they were very accommodating.

The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. The room was clean, enough space for two people, and wifi was stable, didn't have problem working. The only problem was the noise from the hallway although we didn't hear anything from the other rooms :) One thing everyone should keep in mind is a deposit you pay when booking. That is required to confirm your booking. The deposit is returned to your account upon check out. It takes 3-7 days but eventually you get your money back.

Eric, the concierge, was helpful, welcoming, kind and funny. He gave us great recommendations and helped us with any issues and truly made the hotel feel like a home away from home. We’d definitely stay again. The hotel is very clean and well designed! The location was perfect and is in walking distance from the train station and metro.

If you’re a light sleeper or next to a loud couple you might struggle with noise from the hallway. But we didn’t have any issues! We’d definitely stay again.

Sana at reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. My Room was very clean and the size was good enough for a single traveller. Shower was small but if you are small like me (160) it's not really a problem and the water pressure was great. I Had the continental breakfast (buffet) in the morning for an extra €10-12 and it was perfect! (Fruit, cereal, croissant, pain au chocolate, crepes, coffee, cheese, etc) Location was great 5-10 mins walking to different metro & train stations. Eiffel Tower was 10-15 mins by metro (Bir-hakeim to Anvers). Definitely worth the money. Would recommend and stay again :)

Didn't stay long enough.

Staff very helpful during booking in, and when my phone was stolen whilst out. Room was exceptionally clean. We had to book last minute after being stranded by Eurostar so unsure of the area, but it was great. Lots within walking distance, great cafes, restaurants etc. Staff spoke perfect English which helped as our French was terrible.

The walls are a little thin so if you’re a light sleeper or have someone noisy next door you might want to take earplugs. But no noise outside despite being in a room facing the road.

your room telephone need numbers to call eg 112 for reception etc. At least there should be one bottle of water in the room. There was no water provided in the room
