The cleanliness and staff are both top-notch. The buffet breakfast was also very good. The location is equally fantastic with the Metro or Buses and even walking distance to most of what you'd want to visit

The only gripe is that the air con always blew cold air even when the thermostat was set to 25°C or even 30 ! With an infant, we wanted the room to be warmer and could not achieve that.

The welcome we received was warm and the information given was clear. The reception area was clean and smart and had seating and drinks. The family suite room was spacious and clean with a lovely view of historic Gare de l'Est and the surrounding area. The location is great for travelling around Paris near both metro and mainline trains, and there are shops and restaurants alongside the hotel for convenience, plus a park nearby (although we didn't have time to check this out). The hotel also offered a free baggage hold service which was so helpful to us.

The breakfast was quite expensive. It may be because we paid separately. The breakfast area also felt a little cramped but the food and service was lovely. However, with handy restaurants just outside, you could easily grab something there instead.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, with quick and easy access to all parts of the city thanks to its proximity to the subway. I was lucky to stay on the top floor, where the panoramic view was truly breathtaking—stretching from the Sacré-Cœur all the way to the Eiffel Tower. It was an unforgettable sight, especially at sunset and at night when the city lights came alive.

The absence of a bathtub was a bit disappointing, especially after long days of walking around the city. Additionally, the breakfast offered by the hotel felt overpriced at over 20 EUR per day, particularly when there are plenty of charming cafés nearby where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast for under 10 EUR.

booked a room with a double bed, got 2 singles. More of a comment than a "didn't like".... this hotel is undergoing a massive renovation and was a construction site, it did not impede my stay in any way or cause any discomfort. just not that at the time of writing, this hotel is not running a full rooms capacity (May 2025). it will be lovely when completed. I did not like the constant air freshener smell in the public areas (lobby) it gave me a headache.

From CDG Airport it was a simple metro route practically to the front door of the hotel. Very convenient metro stations to access the city. The staff at the hotel were wonderful and the room clean and neat. We had the newly remodeled city view with balcony which gave a nice view but the doors opened against the side of the bed so it was a trick to open them. Free drink at the bar for each night you pass on room cleaning. There is some remodeling happening but it didn’t bother us. Would stay again.

Room size was a bit small and wish the mini bar was more of a refrigerator.

Comfortable Stay in a Great Location I had a great experience at NH Paris Gare de l’Est. The location is very convenient, right across from the train station and with easy access to public transport, shops, and restaurants. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet—perfect for a city stay. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The only issue was that the air conditioning wasn’t working properly during my stay. Fortunately, the hotel provided a fan, which helped a lot and showed their willingness to accommodate guests' needs. Overall, a pleasant stay and I would definitely consider returning.

We had a superior room booked. The room is indeed newly renovated with a nice view over Gare de l’Est. The bathroom seemed a bit outdated and might need a rebrush. We didn’t have breakfast included. I was positively surprised to see that NH still offers bathrobes and slippers, which is no longer a given among 4* hotels. It’s also a nice touch to offer clients water and sweets at their discretion in the lounge. The staff is very kind and helpful at all times.

The downside is that there is still a lot of construction work happening and it will take until fall to finish these. So brace for construction noise from 8-9.00am. We also experienced the noise at night from the street, but then again one is in Paris which never seems to sleep and across a central main station 😊

This was such a good find for the value I paid. Right opposite the station but doesn’t feel as though it kills the vibe. Our room was lovely and all that we needed for a few days here as we was out most of the time. Lovely and clean, air con and amenities. Overall was really happy and easy to commute about over Paris on the metro from here could get to the main attractions easily and Disney land in about 45 mins .

Outside the doors there seemed to be a different array of homeless people staying during the day & night, which as 2 girls can seem a little bit scary when approached. The area is a little outside the main part but easy to get into, just be careful walking around of a night time in this area particularly.

The location was perfect, a few minutes walk from Gare du Nord and just outside of the metro station that we were using to move around the city. We stayed on the 6th floor and we had a really nice view of Gare de l'Est station. The room was ok in size compared to the Parisian standards, and the modern and strong hairdryer was a nice surprise (you barely find this type of hairdryers in hotels).

The only thing we didn't like was the fact that the hotel is currently under renovation and the reception was temporarily located on the 1st floor without elevator access. It was also not possible to use the stairs from our floor to the 1st floor due to this. But I would definitely stay there again if I visited Paris in the future.

The team was friendly and accommodating overall, but on one of the nights, I lost a backpack. The next day, I asked the gentleman at the reception if they could check the cameras to see if I returned with the backpack. The response I received was that they would need the police and a formal justification to review the footage. I didn't ask to view the footage myself—just to confirm whether I had returned with the backpack. I felt a bit disappointed that they didn't try to help more and instead gave what seemed like an unnecessary excuse. However, the location is excellent, the check-in team was friendly, and the room was adequate.
