Location ! Amazing large bathrooms .

Had to request extra towels every single night for 9 days - they would remove them every day and forget to add the extra 2 that we needed (on top of the normal daily 2 that they provide). Same with the 2 extra pillows - about every other night or more they would forget . Cleaning wasn’t always up to par - they forgot to add toilet roll a couple of times and my coffee cup wasn’t changed a couple of times (lipstick mark). Our room keys stopped working last 2 days and from then on seemed difficult to get them to work again on both rooms.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Very comfortable ensuite rooms with good services. Nice help yourself buffet breakfast. Great location in Paris with excellent bars and restaurants right outside across the street. Despite being so central, it was remarkably quiet at night.

A single, very slow lift for the whole hotel means a lot of waiting - or a lot of stairs - if you're on the higher floors. The lobby and downstairs decor (bright yellow, navy blue and deep red) looks awful and gives a slightly cheap vibe - which is in complete contrast to the rooms, dining room and stairway which are all very nicely decorated.

It is rare that I provide feedback on any hotel, but I felt that in the case of Normandy Le Chantier, they are deserving of my time. Neither my wife nor I had been to Paris since school and it was our teenage daughter's first trip, and so we had no expectations, other than the photos of the hotel which drew us to book with you in the first place. From the outset, the reception staff were welcoming as we left our bags early in the day to start exploring, and the colourful reception was intriguing. We returned later in the day tired and found our room. Stunningly and querkily decorated, with the longest sink we've ever seen and a walk-in shower with two showers, we were impressed. Our daughter, who is ready for her own hotel room, loved that she had a separate area to us with her own TV. So to the next morning and the breakfast room is stunning, an extremely tall and absolutely stunning room, let alone the breakfast which was delicious and the word continental does not do it justice. Later, we tried the Mexican restaurant, which is part of the hotel. It is a short menu, but that did not matter as the food was tasty, as were the cocktails. That a fussy eater loved it, says it all. Our final treat of our far too few days here was to try the creperie... to find we wish we'd been more than once. Normandy Le Chantier and its staff gave us a wonderful and relaxed trip to Paris. Thank you, and we'll recommend you to anyone, and we'll be back.

Excellent location, with many restaurant and cafes close by, near the metro, and near the Louvre. The room is spacious, and the bathroom is big with a very good shower. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There was a minibar available in the room, as well as a complimentary coffee machine, which is a nice touch.

Part of the hotel corridors were weird. It looked like it is in mid-reformation and there were steps after the elevator on the way to the room. Some things looked a bit outdated. Food in the breakfast buffet was so-so and there were few choices. I wish the bed was a little bigger.

Very centrally located! Breakfast buffet was amazing. The highlight was the coffee they make for you (free of charge too) at a professional machine (forget the one-button automatic ones) - excellent flavour and sincerely one of the best coffees we had in whole Paris. The most important thing about the hotel is that it has large sized rooms, I mean VERY LARGE compared to other hotels - something that Paris lacks of. Pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Our room was on the first floor at the extension of the building and we had to use the stairs - no elevator from ground to first at the extension

The location is fantastic, in a very nice part of the city. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom / shower was fantastic - amazing products that we’re now trying to buy online! Overall I look forward to staying there again! On another note, the young lady who is in the breakfast room in the morning was so so friendly and helpful.. she deserves a lot of praise!

When we arrived I checked if we had breakfast included (I couldn’t remember) the gentleman on reception said we that we didn’t have breakfast included so the next morning we went out and paid for breakfast. I was sure it was included, so I checked and I was right - so I had paid for breakfast outside when I didn’t need to :(

When entering the hotel for the first time, the lobby may look somewhat peculiar and artistic, but you quickly get accustomed to that. As is mentioned on the hotel’s website, it is still under reconstruction (summer 2024, le chantier = the construction site). Although some reviews suggest otherwise, we did not experience any hindrance from reconstruction activities (maybe because of the holidays). The room we had, with a separate bedroom, was spacious compared to Paris standards. Also it was well maintained, quite modern, very clean and very quiet. The hotel is at a wonderful central location, just 100 meters from the Louvre museum. within walking distance of many other Paris highlights, with a nearby metro station (Pyramides) to bring you anywhere in Paris and with many restaurants and cafés in the direct vicinity. We found the breakfast to be very good, with coffee/cappuccino freshly made for you, fresh orange juice and ample choice of food. The staff are very friendly, always willing to help. All in all, a very nice stay at a perfect location.

- Stuff was extremely polite and helpfull - Rooms are very modern, clean and functional - Location is extremely good. It is in the center, Louvre is 3 minutes from the hotel, many restaurants and caffes around etc - Room where the breakfast is served is looking amazing

Breakfast- it is 30 eur per person but service is far away from the price. They have variety of food, but they don't refill it in time, and often half of the food in not available Lobby of the hotel is not fitting room quality, it requires renovation

Great location with the Louvre close by. Lots of places to eat near hotel. The room was very spacious (triple) & the third bed (sofa) was in a separate area which was ideal for travelling with teenage daughter. It was very quiet. Great bathroom, comfy beds & nice little extras (dressing gowns, slippers, toiletries, etc) Reception were very helpful & spoke great English. Had good aircon for very hot days.

Everything was great. If anything the lack of communal area & dining. The adjoining restaurants were expensive.
