For a budget hotel it's very good ! Staff happily talking English too. Shower hot water in 3 seconds Shower cabin bigger than most expensive hotels. Typical French breakfast Simple but very good room. Exceeded my expectations. The view to the mountains from 4th floor is very beautiful Visit the Chapelle d' Esperance if you go here. It's such a beautiful place. ( closed but you can see inside through the door fence )

A cleaning staff employee entered my room when I not check out yet and sitting on my bed. Please be sure a room has been left and guest has checkout !

Reception closed for the day so checked in by next door upmarket ibis. Warm welcoming reception Standard budget ibis room. Good value. Clean. Comfortable bed and linens Wifi fast and stable Location good for car folk. Suburbia with large supermarket next door. By foot 30 min to train.

The room was like a fridge. Air conditioner was on full blast arctic. Turned it off. But would keep turning on automatically. Would come back and find it on again. Then turned on automatically in morning. This is a waste of power. And not everyone wants to live in a freezer. The budget ibis had no staff on site to help. Fortunately the kind staff at the other ibis gave me a fan heater to warm the room up so I didn’t need a puffer jacket.

It was an easy stop. We were driving from Switzerland to Calais and wanted an easy overnight place. It was really quiet and we slept well. Good bed and shower. The breakfast was nice and the lady on reception this morning (20th July) was lovely

The vehicle gate didn’t open properly with the code and we had to go in and ask for help. It was a minor incident though and was resolved by the night staff.

The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and despite being located close to the aerodrome, it was very quiet. There are several excellent restaurants nearby, including a brilliant bakery which was a short walk away for freshly baked breakfast croissants. Nearby is a huge Hyper U hypermarket and an Intermarche. The town centre is a short walk away and well worth a visit, especially if you are interested in Comte and Mont d'or cheese. We will certainly stay at the Ibis budget again when next in Pontalier. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is cold beer available in the hotel bar (next door to the Ibis budget) and the parking is secure. Best of all is the French sense of humour. The Ibis budget boasts a gym in the form of a "Parcours" where you can practice air boxing, jumping jacks, running on the spot (for warming up) squats and crab walking. In fact, the "gym" is what most people know otherwise as the stairs. Brilliant!

Didn't like the restrictions opening the window. Would have liked it to have opened more and had insect protection net added to stop any bugs flying into the room.

Staff was friendly and rooms very clean. It was quiet during our stay (1 day). We also enjoyed charging our car at the hotel.

We were told that we had to pay for 1 on of our two rooms that we booked via booking.com. Only by remembering that I paid for both and showing the payment, we avoided this payment.

Great staff. Good breakfast. Very efficient. Comfy beds. Spotlessly clean. Obviously a budget hotel when on the road but excellent for what it is.

Entrance code seemed to change on subsequent night.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Clean and comfortable for an over night stop whilst traveling to switzerland. We were traveling with our very timid dog who was also welcomed there. Space around hotel to exercise him and a supermarket next door for fuel and supplies.

All good except for 1 thing. Hotel was new and very modern we didn't like the open shower/wash area we would have preferred a private separate bathroom in the room. Our preference though.

Spotlessly clean, (but make sure you have all your own amenities there is nothing supplied), close to main city centre and local Action shop to pick up any little things you need. Great value for money! Good breakfast selection too! Real value for money!

Clean room and comfortable beds. Fantastic staff who were very friendly and helpful. We left a Kindle in the room which was put by for pick up on our return journey. Perfect stop en route to the Alps

The room was very clean. I liked a shower and big mirrors with good light :) Bed was also comfortable

It’s not possible to make itself check-in by Apple Pay :( That’s should be written somewhere I think. For me it could have been a huge problem (because I never take my bank cards with me ) if my boyfriend didn’t have a bank card ( And it was 23 p.m. ).
