Nice quirky room with separate toilet, shower and washrooms , a separate area with a kettle etc, and another separate wardrobe area, nice comfortable bed, and aesthetically pleasing. Everything was clean and the room is serviced each day. Staff were helpful and welcoming, the receptionist did not speak much English but we managed with the little french we speak and had no problems. The manager was also very helpful. A good continental breakfast to set us up for the day.

The plug sockets were in odd places, there were 2 sockets, one beside the bed , but in the area where the kettle was located the socket was high on the opposite wall, where you would expect to see a light switch, and the kettle flex could not possible reach, we had to position the kettle on the bedside table to use it.. Not really a problem but a bit odd. Parking is also limited, with the hotel positioned on a corner near a roundabout. but free spaces are available. We initially had to park in the railway station car park ( one hour free), then move the car when a space became available.

Good budget hotel, thankyou to Bryce for being helpful and welcoming. Small room but adequate. Loo with no door? I don't think it will catch on. Slept well. Bistro Gantier is excellent, great staff and great vfm.

The owners were delightful. Despite my poor French, they were helpful, friendly and genuinely good people. They deserve success. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed with ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was of very good quality in their Bistro within the hotel.

It was a surprise to be locked out at 16h. I hadn’t realized that this would happen. Nobody was in the lobby. I didn’t have my phone or the code and waited for someone to lend me a phone so I could get back in. Be aware!

Great location. Fabulous food in the attached bistro. Bed was super comfy

If you have any mobility issues the stairs might be an issue for you.
