We had the bigger double room, as we had our dog with us, and it was lovely and spacious, with a small fridge too which was a bonus. Shower good, big and hot. Bed comfy. We liked being on the ground floor as our dog doesn't like stairs or slippery surfaces, and the corridor was carpeted. Very good selection of foods for breakfast including lots of jams, pastries, delicious scrambled egg and yoghurts. Handy location to pop into town for supper (recommend Le Grillade d'hier restaurant).

The heavy sliding doors on the loo and shower weren't very user friendly, and the room was very cold when we arrived

What an amazing little find! We were driving back from the Alps and needed a stop over. We had a quadruple room as we’re a family of four with two small children. (This alone is hard to find at a reasonable price) Our room wasn’t an interconnected room either it had two bedrooms which, when you have two small children having their own door to the hallway is always a bit of a worry! We had four single beds which were comfortable and clean!! A separate toilet and shower room which is great as children always seem to want the bathroom when you’re in the shower.. The room has air conditioning, a fridge, extra pillows. The breakfast was good and children eat free. There was also plenty of free parking with electric charging points for €8 We will stay here again on the way home.

Excellent location, just off N4. Modern and clean hotel with secure car park for car and bikes etc. Within walking distance of 5 restaurants, though 1 McD's and 1 Burger King, but get discount if staying at hotel. Beds were really comfortable with normal 'British' pillows, excellent shower, coffee machine and fridge in room and large TV. Breakfast was ample buffet style, cooked and continental, juices and coffee/tea.

This hotel was extremely good value. The room was much bigger than an Ibis would offer. There were tea and coffee making facilities, including China cups. The breakfast was excellent and included scrambled eggs and bacon. The location in a commercial zone was quiet at night.There was secure parking for our bicycles. Lots of EV chargers if you need them.

The location was understandably limited in its dining options, but there were some budget restaurants and takeaways within walking distance.

Nothing - last time I thought it was an issue not have a restaurant but we went to then Italian restaurant (2 minute walk away) and not only did we have a pretty good meal with wine we were given very good discount for staying at the Brit. I would suggest that this is made to everyone.

Some of the staff seemed a bit bored or at least unwelcoming. We were a bit bemused when we noticed the world map sculpture above our bed didn't seem to feature the UK .... especially considering it was called the 'Brit Hotel'! The UK seemed to be merged into France, unless we missed something?

This is the second time we've done a stopover here on the way back to Calais. For a "Budget" hotel this is a really excellent hotel. It's really clean and modern. The room (we had a family room with 2 double beds) is spacious and comfortable. The room has lots of things I'd only expect for a more expensive hotel like a really good tea and coffee facility, a safe, aircon, a warmed mirror in the bathroom so you can see after using a shower, lots of towels and plenty of shower gels. The breakfast is great too - lots of choice, really tasty bread, tons of jams and pastries, hot options and good tea and coffee. There is a decent chain Italian next door which you can get a discount at. Thoroughly recommended.

It's not in the most beautiful location - it's in an out of town shopping zone - but that's not a problem for us as we use it for stopovers only. It's got great transport access.

The hotel was very clean, tidy and comfortable in a way you can possibly look at it. The biggest advantage of this hotel is that the regular check-in starts at 12 noon. The room was as in the photos and there was a bottles water and coffee&tea facilities available. The air conditioning worked very well (it was well needed asbtge heat was almost unbearable). There was plenty of secured parking. I was on the motorbike and the bike shelter could be used to keep the motorbike either in the shade or away from the rain. Some chilled fizzy drinks were available to purchase at the reception. Thank you for making my stay a wonderful experience. I will happily return when I am in the area again.

Great place, super clean, comfortable and spacious. A great-value stopover.

I chose the hotel because it had a 24h front desk as I knew we’d be arriving late. It did - but it didn’t have a 24h car-park gate. When we arrived there was no clue how to open the gate and we hadn’t been forewarned about this. In the end my husband squeezed through a gap and went to tell the receptionist to open the gate. Not ideal when you’re tired and it’s late. Otherwise, excellent.
