Breakfast was great, juice, pancakes, cereals, eggs, cheese, meats, a range of yoghurts as well as bread and pastries, tea, coffee etc. Location was easy, outside town in an industrial/retail estate area, but easy to drive in for supper, and I think restaurants were available nearby. We had a superior room and the bed was big and comfortable. Shower room nice, modern, clean and spacious, and really liked the smell of the soap gel provided. Liked that it was a motel, as having car nearby was handy. It would also be good for when we bring our dog next time. Appreciated kettle in room, with coffee and sugar, so we could refill our thermos for our onward travel . Price very good for what we got.

A mirror in the bedroom would be handy, as the one in the bathroom steamed up and I couldn't see to do my makeup and hair. A second bedside cabinet is essential for a room sleeping two people. I did mention this and they said it was an oversight and there should have been two in a superior room.

Easy to find. Small room but fine for overnight stay. Secure parking. Restaurant next door. Good breakfast. Pancake machine, ham, cheese, eggs as well as the usual yogurt, breads, cereal and coffee machine Good value for money.

It is close to main road and a lorry distribution centre. Quite sound proofed so we weren't disturbed but we stayed in winter so didn't have windows open.

I would describe the Eqynox as more of a motel than a hotel. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and were very friendly. Breakfast was a bit of a free-for-all as the layout is a little confusing if you’re only there for a night and don’t know the layout. To summarise I would stay there again just for the secure parking and value for money.

Spotless room, if your expectations are realistic for a budget hotel then this.will probably exceed them, shower was hot and powerful, didn't have breakfast so can't comment on this, very secure car park for my fishing gear, have stayed here 4 times now

Not a dislike but this is in the middle of an industrial zone so it's not scenic, however it is quiet and no road noise slept really well, 10am checkout is a little early if I had a complaint

Don’t be put off by the location, which is in an industrial zone near the small town of Vitry-le-François. The hotel was simple, good value for money and probably one of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve seen in a long time. Compared to the reviews for some basic hotels in Chalons-en-Champagne, you’d be far better off staying at the Eqynox.

Initial impression of the surrounding area was not great, but as long as you have transport, it’s no problem. It’s also very quiet which is an advantage.

Rooms where cool as it was warm outside, beds are good and the price is great, we stop here every year on the way to our annual fishing trip, secure car park is also great as it gives peace of mind.

It was immaculately clean and very quiet, also breakfast was excellent. The young lady looking after the hotel was very efficient and polite.

The outlook from our room at the rear of the property just looked onto scruffy wasteland.

Easy to find, has a great good value traditional French restaurant next door, within easy reach of the champagne area. Staff all very accommodating and helpful, rooms clean and easy parking...all excellent for an overnight stay whilst travelling. Thanks

Boutique styling to rooms with fixtures and fittings worthy of high-end hotels. Hand-painted, upcycled furniture are a lovely touch. Breakfasts are plentiful and easy self-service. Staff are uber-friendly, multi-lingual and very helpful.

It's a bit out of town if you fancy a beer....

Secure parking for the motorcycle right outside the room, the car park is secured with an electric gate at night. There’s a good restaurant and bar next door.
