Easy to find but a bit “out of town”, which is probably a bonus if you’re only stopping one night. Secure parking, friendly helpful staff at check in. Decent but small room but the air con worked perfectly, as did the shower. There is a small bar but 100m down the road there is a good pub (9 beers 😜) that does basic food. Decent sleep and good breakfast with the usual stuff but also bacon and eggs. Wouldn’t stay a week but great for an overnight

The receptionist was super helpful and smiley which made for a great welcome. Room very clean, bed super comfortable, quiet. Restaurant nearby. Everything you need for a stopover.

A place to put your suitcases would be great, maybe a rack? There is a good size cupboard but if you are only staying one night, you don’t want to unpack.

We stayed 1 night en route to the UK at the hotel with our dog. The hotel was excellent for our needs, clean, comfortable and a very enjoyable breakfast which included freshly cooked scrambled eggs and bacon along with other continental breakfast items. I would recommend this hotel.

Good location when travelling to Calais with 2 restaurants within walking distance. Plenty of good parking.

Room was a bit compact but functioned well. Breakfast room was too small when a large group of cyclists got there before us. We had a poor nights sleep due to very noisy guests playing loud music at 1.30 am and various groups talking in the car park in the middle of the night. No staff present to sort them out.

Perfect hotel for our travels across Europe. Normally this type of hotel is bland and full of business people but actually the staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome. Excellent parking in a closed carpark. There was a small bar which was a bonus and places to sit outside and have a drink. We went to a local bar 5 mins walk away and that was nice as well. I was amazed at the price we paid as little more than some of the campsites we had stayed in. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment.

....a/c in the room, lived the 'shower pod BUT....the spread of the breakfast was amazing....and a great little diner to enjoy it. This place is 10/10, but just difficult to get to vi sat-nav.

....slightly low pressure for shower...and getting their confused my sat nav.

Location. It was used for a stopover on our way back from a ski trip. Not too far out of our way. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and we chose one virtually opposite that we could walk to as we’d driven enough for one day.

The pillow on the bed, but just take your own !

I like the fact that I often travel from the UK to mainland Europe in a van a trailer which is 12 meters long the staff always try and reserve the space outside for me to park safely

Good stop for an overnight stay whilst travelling south. Staff were helpful and local restaurant was a good place to go for an evening meal.

Nothing really; it is a budget hotel and the setting and facilities offered reflect that status. If you are looking for an easy accessible setting at a budget level this fits the bill.

Standard B&B fare, basic but clean and adequate. Staff always friendly and breakfast plentiful and freshly cooked. A bit too far out of town to walk in, but easy parking if you want to drive in. Secure parking outside always a bonus.
