- Handy location to stay, not far from the main road - room clean and has Windows (not just air con) - quiet as away from road - Good breakfast selection - staff friendly and helpful. Speak some English - one young guy running the whole place in the evening. Impressive! -Breakfast staff refilling Jams. Attentive - reasonable champagne price. Very good taste

- no food after 9pm - only pizzas for dinner Considering that this hotel is away from the City centre, food should be available for longer . (Even a microwave meal would do)

Great location for an overnight stay on our way to Calais from Innsbruck. We booked really late and got a warm welcome by the brilliant night staff at 1145pm. She was excellent and really helpful. The room was comfortable and bathroom was clean. The breakfast was fantastic and set us up for the day!

The hotel was having works and the corridors needed a good clean. The room was small and very basic.

Everything was brilliant. The best Ibis I've ever stayed in. The staff were very helpful. The bar, restaurant and facilities and outside garden areas were lovely. We arrived by motorbike and the parking was good. The meals in the restaurant were absolutely great.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, we ended up here as we had broken down and the staff were amazing. It is simple and room small with basic facilities, but just what we needed.

Difficult to find in industrial estate… better signage needed from road

Very welcoming and friendly staff. We had a pleasant stay and had a nice rest in a clean and comfortable room.

I missed the possibility to have coffee or tea in the room (but there was a bar in the common area where you could get drinks).

Location was not good on an industrial estate a long way from centre of town. The address shown on website took me to centre of Challon and sat nav did not bring address up but after telephone call to hotel they told me to put in hospital address and it was near there but even then not easy to find as set in a valley and not easily seen.

This was a perfect stopover for our trip to Switzerland. Comfortable, and it had air con. A must in the summer these days.

As the hotel wasn't near anything else a better evening meal selection would have been.

arrived late on Saturday night to find there was no restaurant facilities only pizza available. also was not allowed in restaurant with our dog despite us having no problem in other IBIS we have stayed in.

Confrontation by manager over bar seating, seating they positioned and then requested we move, as we would be more comfortable in a place they suggested, no we were absolutely happy where we were and on seats provided in that location.

Ibis is the perfect no fuss stop off on a journey. All the basics are excellent. Comfortable beds, pillows, nice linen, good hot showers, excellent trad food. Necessities are intelligently thought out.
