Great location, in the middle of everything, nice rooms and decor. Friendly staff, breakfast is quite nice too. Only parking is a challenge, we recommend parking close by. Otherwise the quality we know of Ibis Styles, so far they've all been great.

Parking is a mess: in theory you can reserve parking here, but that doesn't guarantee you a space, as people tend to "slip in" and just take a place. We tried to park there with our Enyaq - forget about that, there are maybe 4 places big enough to accommodate a car of that size. Ended up parking for free between Grand Jard and Petit Jard, plenty of parking there and about 400m walk to the hotel.

Excellent stop off around the Reims area as we drove back to the UK after ski holiday in the French Alps. We needed safe car parking due to having skis strapped to the car, so the underground car park was excellent. This hotel is in the centre of town in Chalon en Champagne- great to have a few bars to walk to for a lovely apperatif in the sunshine, along with some restaurants too. We opted for 'Shop & Bieres' which was v popular for a drink, and then the fast food 'L' Hamburgerie' opposite the hotel as we were hungry & needed to eat fast! Teenagers + husband loved their burgers & said they were super tasty! Also fun to do in the evening is a lit up route taking you around the town (look out for the blue lights to follow on the pavements) - light shows are projected into bridges & buildings called 'Metamorph/euse'. Think you can also see it from a boat trip on the river. If you have time, also good is the covered market, selling lots of lovely food, honey, freshly cooked chickens, breads, fruit & vegetables all beautifully presented. Other shops which looked good were the award winning chocolatier, near the market - it was Easter, so they had some beautiful eggs (bit out of our price range, but nice to look at all the same!) A great stop off hotel & location - definitely recommend. Teenagers liked the small gym at the hotel too!

The breakfast in the hotel was absolutely fine, but not the best we've ever had. It was, however, included in the Booking.com price, so nothing really to complain about.

In the centre of a very pretty small town, an ideal stop over night about 3 hours drive from Calais with easy parking outside. On a rainy Monday (many restaurants closed) we had a lovely meal at La Bourse, just on the corner of the square. The bedroom was light and spacious, with a huge and comfortable double bed, and a roomy and modern shower room. All was very clean and tidy (if a bit minimalist in decor and furnishings!) and the welcome was friendly.

Excellent location in one of the main squares. We were greeted by a nice and friendly receptionist and were able to park our motorcycles in the hotels secure underground car park. Lots of nice bars near the hotel and we were treated to an evening of live music in the square whilst relaxing with food and drinks. The hotel was clean and modern with nice sized room and comfy beds and we had a nice breakfast before setting off on the next part of our tour.

The AC in the room didn’t work. Reception staff said we had to hold the power button for a while to start it. We did this and it started but all we had was a lot of noise but the room didn’t get cooler. It was a hot day and evening and we really needed the AC working - as a result we didn’t get a good nights rest

The position is brilliant. Out of the main entrance and straight onto the Place de la Republique. Plenty of bars, restaurants and entertainment there. The room was fine, the staff were helpful. The breakfast was good, with plenty of variety on offer. The lift served every floor.

The parking arrangements took a bit of sorting out, but turned out to be very convenient, and quite spacious.

Central location, secure underground parking with a limited number of spaces though, check they have a space if this is important to you. We were travelling through France to Switzerland so we wanted secure parking as the car was packed full. Clean rooms, decent bed, good breakfast.

Personally I don't like the toilet being separate to the main bathroom, but maybe that's just me.

Hotel was central, with car parking, the staff were really pleasant and the room was very clean. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice . Being in the city centre there was a good choice of places to eat and drink and plenty of shopping opportunities, including a covered market selling local produce.

The pillows - one large one and another more like a cushion, both hard and lumpy. We both woke up with aching necks. We've stayed in several Ibis hotels over the years, but not had this problem before.

Perfectly placed for restaurants, bars, shops; we went for a low key Christmas market - perfect, right outside the hotel. Parking under the hotel for €10 a day was very convenient and breakfast was varied and well-prepared.

Quite cold in the room on arrival, upping the temperature of the air-conditioning improved it, but couldn't find a happy medium - either too hot or too cold.

Rooms were clean and fine although we couldn't get a twin. Instead we had a double and a couch. Reception were really friendly and set the image for the hotel. Underground parking was very secure although there was a charge.

Breakfast was fine but a little disorganised. We had to keep waiting for mugs, glasses and plates.
