On arriving we were met by the staff to greet us and take our luggage . We then went to park our car and there was plenty of room . The whole property had so much character . Our room was excellent . We had a separate toilet and shower with a large bed and a large balcony over looking the garden with sun-beds and table and chairs . The air con was very comfortable . There was a lovely indoor pool where you could go straight outside to the garden. All staff there were really helpful and made our stay special. We enjoyed a drink of delicious wine before dinner and had a lovely meal In the restaurant where the service was excellent

We had a free upgrade to a suite which was amazing. Beds, duvet & pillow were so comfy. The shower was great, powerful and separate toilet. I had a champagne breakfast for the first time, really spoilt. We had an evening meal 1 night and the food is tremendous, so delicious. We had robes and footwear for spa already in our room which was great, we got changed in our room and got the lift down which stops right outside the spa. The spa facilities is great, we booked a massage and it was Amazing, me and my friend were in a room together and had a massage at the same time, the young ladies were great. The staff were all really friendly, welcoming and would do anything for you.

The hotel is quite rural so you would need to get there by car or taxi, there is nothing else around but if you have a car you have a good choice of places to visit around.

This is a great location - quiet, easy to get to, plenty of parking, and opposite the beautiful Basilique de Notre-Dame-de-l'Epine. We have stayed here a number of times and stayed in different rooms, and every stay has been consistently clean, comfortable, and inviting. On this visit, we were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade, which made our experience even more special. The staff are always charming, attentive, and genuinely friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Plus, the on-site restaurant is excellent - I could live on the bread alone, it's so good!

Difficult access to car park in a steep narrow side road. We were lucky in that a staff member happened to be outside to direct us and open the electric gate. There was nowhere safe to park while finding this out from reception first, and its essential to report arrival in order to get the gate opened! Motorcyclists please note that the car park is deep gravel on a slope. The restaurant dinner was good but small portions and very expensive. We felt a little rushed. Had to miss breakfast as doesn't start until 7.30am

We loved the room which was really comfortable and really well equipped. We were upgraded to a deluxe room unexpectedly which was also a pleasant surprise. The spa and pool were also lovely and included in our stay. It was a really welcome after such a long drive.

Our stay was on Sunday night so we didn’t get to eat at the much touted restaurant on site. Although we were warned about this and given alternative options in the area, there were pretty limited as many of the closer restaurants were also closed on a Sunday. We also opted for the breakfast which at approx. €25 a head felt v poor value for money. Everything was very well laid out and the service was good but the offer felt really disappointing given the cost. It was a bum note in an otherwise lovely stay.

In a quiet out of town location but only a short drive from the larger city. Very plush upmarket hotel at a reasonable price. The swimming pool was a bonus. A good breakfast selection and well presented at 26€ pp but as an out of town establishment it was worth the cost, plus not having to go anywhere else to search out. Breakfast establishment. Very comfortable room with a fantastic bed.

The only thing that could have been better was the standard of toilet roll was not up to the standard of the hotel.

Next- level comfy beds! So, so delightful and with beautiful, sumptuous bed linen. So clean and user friendly the room felt as if only just refurbished. The staff were also next-level excellent...All the staff. This hotel claimed one of its missions is to provide sincere histidine and to take extra care of its staff. This clearly showed in the welcoming and helpful attitude and the knowledge of all staff. Contemporary, fresh and creative, and classy interior design. Effective air conditioning. Provision of a table and 2 chairs.

More space for our cases, you have to unpack what you want to use for an overnight stay rather than' live out of the case'... or use all abbasid surfaces to put the cases on

Great hotel in lovely countryside and in a lovely village next to a cathedral. All staff ( bar 1) amazingly helpful and friendly. Reception staff particularly helpful. Spa facilities great.

Restaurant - over rated, great presentation of food but lacking flavour/ taste. Price of drinks astronomically high 20 euro for a single g & t! Need to up their game in restaurant in providing help around gluten and dairy free options. Comment made to me as I was only ordering 2 courses, was good luck, as if I wouldn’t have enough - feeling she wanted me to commit to cheese course and dessert to get extra money from us. As a whole restaurant lets the hotel down as being too pretentious.

This is a luxury hotel located in a small village next to the impressive Basilica. Private parking, swimming pool, spa facilities, garden, so it aims at tourists looking for a relaxing short stay, not at business people. The room is big with very comfortable large bed, quiet, well equipped. Large bathroom with very big walk-in shower. Separate toilet, always a plus. Very good restaurant in the hotel.

The breakfast buffet is not extraordinary (compared to the luxury segment aimed for), the coffee in particular is below standard. Apart from the Basilica there is nothing to do or see in the immediate neighbourhood. The layout is a bit confusing and the corridors are dark.

Super clean, beautifully equipped room - we were upgraded on arrival so can only comment on the deluxe room, which was marvellous. Tea/coffee facilities plus a small fridge. Really comfortable large bed with lovely bedding. Good, secure parking. Restaurant is also beautifully appointed with a great outlook to the Basilica - worth a visit.

Our shower didn’t have a door - it was just a walk in which soaked the rest of the bathroom however hard we tried to contain it. Great shower - just prefer not to paddle to the loo or sink afterwards. The food in the restaurant was perfectly edible but we felt was ‘punching above its weight’. The food wasn’t the creative delight that it sets itself up to be. Wine is VERY expensive and we felt the meal was overpriced for what we had. Shame because the experience of being in this setting/dinjng room was delightful
