A great family stop for one night. Totally wheelchair accessible. A short walk in to an area with lots of restaurants, the town hall and churches. Fabulous to have space in a family room with two bedrooms, longea area, small kitchen and dining table. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. To start with it felt odd staying in an older people’s residence but it was beautifully maintained and very quiet. The residence said hello when we were passing. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the restaurant or other facilities.

To have some hand soap available. There was shower gel.

Our room was exceptionally comfortable & spacious (after all, it was an apartment). Very clean also. The location of the facility was lovely, and very convenient for walking into the center of town. The town was a surprise: a very nice mix of old and new architecture, and it seemed very lively. There are many restaurants to choose from. We did not take breakfast - we weren't that hungry, but it was also due to the lack of information provided by the staff at the front counter.

This establishment is obviously a retirement home, and we applaud their flexibility in providing temporary accommodations. But it seemed that the front desk staff did not know what to do with us - they just handed us the key, with no additional information about the place. We speak French, but they did not seem very interested in communicating with us. It was partly due to that, and the fact that we felt like intruders in this senior citizens' residence, that we did not inquire about breakfast, even though I think it was included in the price.

We were a little weary when we found out that this property was actually a retirement home, but instead of a hotel room we were given little apartments, that would have even allowed for self catering. Everything seemed brand new, the apartment was bright, very clean, the bed comfortable and the shower superb! Prebooked parking was available, just be aware the max. Height is 1.9m and it was tight with the roof box on the Mondeo. Staff was very friendly and helpful, although they seemed still trying to figure out the hotel side of the business. Communication was a bit difficult due to our lack of French, but with google translate and the goodwill of the staff at reception all was explained. The hotel is just a stone throw from the city centre and plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance.

All was well, no complaints

Very spacious and modern apartments, built in 2023 and nicely decorated. Large and comfortable beds. Good shower and bathroom. Lots of storage if you need it. Short 5 min walk to city centre. Nice setting next to a river.

Only two things could have been improved upon: Firstly, no soap was provided to wash your hands. As most guests appeared to be like us spending a night on the way to the Alps, they are unlikely to want to go and buy any. Secondly, breakfast was very limited for the price. Even if hot food cannot be provided, a few cereals and ham and cheese would have helped. Milk and juice ran out quickly and were not replaced. But we got enough food to keep us going.

The apartment was spacious, with 2 separate bedrooms and individual beds for our 2 children. The furnishings are of a high standard. The building is in a quiet cul-de-sac, with adequate street parking, and a short walk to the city centre and tourist office, so good for the excellent night-time "son-et-lumière" boat tour around the old town. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good, albeit a bit basic. Good value for money. A great place for an overnight stay to break a long north-south journey.

The place is extremely new and very very clean. The apartment was very spacious and clean as well. The bed was great and it's really quiet.

It's a bit of a strange place. It's kind like an old people's home that also rents out their rooms/apartments. So when we arrived we were quite confused if we were in the right place. So yes it's a bit of a strange vibe to be staying in an retirement home, but it's oke if you know it beforehand. The breakfast was very very minimal (not good). But there are plenty of nice place to have breakfast nearby. Or you could make breakfast your own kitchen in the apartment.

The guest rooms of Domitys La Clef des Arts are spaciously furnished with a kitchenette, sitting area, dining table and separate bathroom and bedroom. The guest room was clean and there was no shortage of facilities in the guest room. The location in relation to the city was exceptionally good.

The guest houses of Domitys La Clef des Arts are part of an apartment complex for seniors. This means there is less contact with the permanent residents (the seniors) and the reception and staff are mainly focused on the permanent residents. Not a bad thing in itself, but something to keep in mind if you are staying for a short period. The parking garage is on the very narrow side. Only for experienced and/or adventurous drivers.

The property was very clean, bright and cheerful. The staff were great. Breakfast was amazingly good, with all the items I like. There was the option of adding a bit extra for the pool which I wished I had taken up, but unfortunately I did not have the time for. The apartment we booked had a fridge, a cooker and it helped with getting my teenagers snack time at night, we just had to ask for a bit of salt from the kitchen. The parking was easy to find and the location is very close to town where we got out basic needs.

There was no soap by the sink so we had to use the soap from the shower. The pillows need to be fluffier. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

The ‘room’ was a large apartment - big bedroom, big sitting room with a kitchenette, a very large bathroom, and a terrace. It was outstanding, and all very clean and comfortable.

The breakfast, which cost €12, each was awful. There was hardly anything on the buffet, noting was replenished ss it ran out. There were no plates available. We had to ask for tea and bread. The fruit salad looked like it had been stewing in the bowl for days (everyone clearly thought the same, as it sat untouched by all).

Upon arrival we were met with very helpful staff, a secure underground parking pass 6 euros for the night on site. The accommodation is a 1 bed flat, stylish and spotless - yes this is also a sheltered accommodation facility but not being ageist this didn’t bother us . Breakfast was included - fresh fruit salad , pastries and an exceptional coffee machine. Some of the reviews do not give this place justice - location to the resturant just around the corner - perfect stay.
