Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Location was fine for the time we were there and what we wanted to achieve although we were disappointed that due to french holidays a lot of the facilities in the town were shut. The meal in the restaurant was delicious and a wonderful experience, good value for money. The bar staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, their service was excellent.

The spa was also shut during our stay and so despite the price for the two nights we were not able to use this. Whist the room was large and comfortable enough it was not altogether clean, tere were cobwebs ob the light fittings and the walls behind the bed looked dirty. There were no tissues provided in the room and limited milk and tea unless we asked for more. I feel for the price of the room those little details were not as good as they could have been.

Strategic position in the region famous for what it's famous. Easy to reach Reims, Epernay, Ay, Ambonnay, Bouzy, etc. Comfortable enough, clean, cheap, private, decent restaurant Terre de Craie- excellent value for your money compared to different chateau-style-hotels 4 or 5 times more expensive with ambiguously better service, slightly better breakfast food though well under the level of world class...

The smoking could be completely eliminated from the amenities of the site.

We thought it was a lovely calm hotel with a beautiful layout and very modern simple design. The bar area and breakfast areas were really lovely. The wines fantastic, especially the Champagne. Vivian on front desk very accommodating and especially friendly with everyone. Our room was lovely out the back and quiet and large. Beautiful bakery just around the corner and a nice dinner restaurant within easy 5 minute walk.

The Hotel wasn't serving full dinner menu on the night we stayed so that was a little discouraging as we had wanted to stay in and instead had to venture out.

Comfortable bed, dog friendly. There’s free parking in the street. There’s a very good restaurant in the hotel (don’t be put off by the fact that it’s in a hotel - it’s probably the best in town), but closed on Sundays

The floor was quite dirty. Also lots of fluff and dust under the bed. Our little chihuahua went under the bed and got out all dusty. But the bathroom was clean

Great location. Very clean and modern hotel with lovely staff. The restaurant was also very good and value for money.

Minor things really but wouldn't put us off staying again. No iron in the room. Also our TV was on a wall where you couldn't view it from the bed. No English breakfast tea (for us Brits) in the room but did not concern us, as a nice coffee machine instead.. The bathroom window wasn't fully private and looked out onto a main road so really needed a blind or obscure glass in every window pane. The bathroom extractor fan also did not work. Other than this the rooms are lovely and we had a wonderful stay.

The room was extremely large and comfortable, if a little soulless due to little external light. The bed was high quality. The facilities were broadly good. Surface parking was secure and easy to use.

Too much overhead lighting. Good to have a separate toilet room, but not to fail to provide a toilet roll holder. Disappointing not to be able to dine on our night in a quality hotel, though the restaurant recommended was very good.

Location perfect for the champagne experience we planned. Cleanliness outstanding, Friendly and very helpful staff. Very modern comfortable room.

The town and surroundings has very few facilities on a sunday, so plan or book your entertainment well in advance. If you do that you will love the weekend away.

Breakfast was very good. Fresh bread large selection of continental foods and continental hot selection. Great drinks choice, fresh fruits cereals and cakes. The hotel restaurant food in the evening was fantastic!

My A/C didn’t work in the room

Generally everything about this hotel was of a pretty high standard. Somehow it reflected the Champagne region which surrounds it. When next in this area, it is a hotel we will seek out.

If the weather had been bad, the outside walk from our room to the rest of the hotel might have been unpleasant but we noticed that umbrellas were available at each entrance/exit. I’ve really struggled to identify anything I didn’t like.

Very good value for money, clearly recently renovated the rooms have space and with modern and comfortable furniture. Good WiFi and tv screen that you can stream (like Netflix). We also bought some champagne at very fair rate from the same owners of the hotel.

Was a pity that the hotel restaurant was closed, but we were informed of that in advance (it was the weekly rest days) .
