Breakfast was very nice, not too much, not too little. Patrick was a brilliant and relaxed host who we enjoyed chatting to about the history of the chateau. Our room was enormous!! We arrived with two labradors who were very welcome.

Roll top bath with a hand held shower head. Would have preferred a fixed shower head but appreciate the chateau is very old and has retained a great deal of it’s original grandeur without the modern trappings of a newly built hotel.

We really loved this place! The castle is so beautiful inside and out, and so is the garden. What’s even better is the staff. They are all super kind and treated us so well, sharing stories and doing whatever they could to make us comfortable during our stay. They cooked us dinner, and it was definitely worth the money. This is really a place you want to visit if you’re nearby

The pool was super nice, however some leaves and dead insects inside as it wasn’t covered during the night. i didn’t mind, but some people may.

Everything!!!! This place was stunning. What an amazing sensational place to stay. Absolutely beautiful. Our room....suite really...gorgeous and huge. Our little pom, who was made very welcome did the zoomies round the beautifuly decorated historic bedroom. It was even more impressive in reality than the pictures shown on line. The grounds are stunning. The hosts are charming, friendly and welcoming. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Excellent breakfast, lovely rooms, beautiful location

described on Booking.com as Bed and Breakfast: = "a room for the night and a morning meal at an inclusive price.". and the Chateau's own website says the price includes breakfast. (It's an extra) Booking.com also says a flat screen TV in every bedroom. Don't know where they got that from. Not much they can do about the mosquitos: but maybe a warning would help: BRING INSECT REPELLANT??

Awesome host with a true passion for what he is doing. You might even get a very nice (private) dinner prepared by the host (in case you ask and he has free capacity). The location is an oasis of tranquility; the village has a population of just a bit more then 300. As we went there in (hot) Summer time, we also enjoyed a lot the small pool. The castle is well maintained and kept very authentic.

The gardens were extensive and pretty and the rooms were traditionally furnished. Dinner, cooked by Patrick, was wonderful; I would highly recommend if you are staying at the chateau.

I booked the two bedroom suite for my mum and myself. The bed in the second bedroom was only suitable for a small child and this is not advertised. The pool was too dirty to be used.

Beautiful room in a nice chateau!

Just a minor complaint but the shower was in the bathtub with just a manual shower head that you couldn't attach to the wall and it was a bit awkward to use. For the price, perhaps breakfast could be included.

The Chateau was absolutely beautiful and set in lovely well cared for grounds. There were lots of lovely areas to sit in and the situation was extremely peaceful. There was a small swimming pool which we were able to use. The interior of the Chateau was wonderful, with lots of original pannelling and antiques. Our bedroom was beautifully furnished with lovely views. Our host was extremely welcoming and was also an excellent chef! He made us a deliscious evening meal. He was also very knowledgeable about the history of the Chateau and the surrounding area.

There was nothing we did not like and we would stay there again.

The character of the property, very relaxed and peaceful, ping pond table for kids, lovely grounds, spacious, clean & well decorated rooms. Dinner was perfect and our kids needs were so well catered for! Actually, it felt as we lived there. Hosts are absolutely amazing! Thank you for having us.

A beautiful stop on our way through France with a very hospitable host. Wonderful grounds to relax in and fabulous room. The breakfast was delicious and we highly recommend it. We will be back!
