The hotel is located in a beautiful location where tranquility reigns supreme. The grounds and the views are just stunning. There are 2 outdoor pools, one exclusively for adults. There's full access to the sauna, steam bath and fitness centre. The room (deluxe double), albeit a bit bland in design, is extremely comfortable and spacious, with a balcony. The toilet is separate from the bathroom, which we enjoyed. There is a coffee machine with complimentary coffee pods and complimentary sparkling and still water bottles. The TV allows casting from portable devices. On arrival, there was a valet service in place and our luggage was taken to our room. There are 2 restaurants on site, we did not try the more upscale one, but the food served at the other was tasty and well portioned, albeit a bit pricey. Guests were very well mannered, no parading influencers or loud talkers. When we left, we really felt as if we managed to unplug and relax.

I believe the staff felt quite short of the expected for a 5* hotel like this one. Some, not all, were not particularly pleasant to interact with. Their level of english, understanding and spoken, was not up to the standard. The service at the restaurant was extremely slow. We noticed a lot of staff running back and forth but not interacting with the guests. More than one guest had to get up to get a menu or give in their order. One member of staff asked me to point out in the menu what I wanted because he/she couldn't understand me. Throughout the day not one single member of staff approached the guests in the pool area. I had to open my own sun umbrella everyday. And that's what I can remember, there were more issues. I think you can do a lot better. Only reason you're not a 10!

Great customer service all your needs are attended to by an enthusiastic team that can truly advise on the cultural events in the area or outdoor activities. Shuttle service to the centre of Aix was very handy - thank you! Very nice starred restaurant with breathtaking view of Sainte Victoire mountain - just as Cezanne painted it :) Definitely planning to be back one day!

For a 5 star accommodation it would be nice to have breakfast offered to the guests.

I liked everything. The staff was wonderful and our room was divine! Very comfortable. And, considering I had a broken ankle, I was able to get around well because they happened to have an extra wheelchair that I could use. I even took it on an excursion with me. Overall, very helpful staff, beautiful environment and excellent food.

There was nothing I didn't like I wish I had been in the position to really take advantage of the spa and pool, but the broken ankle held me back.

The property is beautiful and the front of house staff was very helpful with our bags, touristing, the kids, etc. The pool is very well managed, and the grounds are well kept and gorgeous to walk around. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very helpful in the morning.

The food service. The food itself was really good, but the service was VERY slow - we waited +90 minutes for apps and drinks for ourselves and our children one day at lunch. The staff didn't seem too fussed that things were so late and slow either. For the price of the stay and the food, the service was not very good.

The surroundings of this property were stunning, very peaceful and tranquil. There was enough space where you didn’t feel on top of other guests around the multiple pools, in the spa and at breakfast/dinner. Food and service at the restaurant were very good.

Reception staff were not warm and welcoming. Not enough options for breakfast, and not known that you could choose different egg styles as only one seemed to be on offer and we were not told we could choose something al a carte. Dinner was the same, not enough varied options on the menu.

My husband and I visited Aix-en-provence from March 21-26. We stayed in Les Lodges Sainte-Victorie Hotel & Spa for the entire trip. The staff were attentive and helpful, as English speakers, we never felt left out or treated without respect. Special shout out to Benoit, Gregory and Laurent, thanks to them, we had an amazing trip in Provence. The Les Lodges crew has maintained the highest standards of hospitality that the company should be proud of, and cherish. For anyone who reads my post, this is a hotel you don't want to miss if you plan to stay in Provence.

Les Lodges is a dreamy property! The staff, service and room were top notch. It was a beautifully decorated property the terraces and pools were so lovely and the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. Our French is not great and much of the staff were able to communicate with us in English and we were so grateful. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Aix en Provence.

service. everyone was well trained and well informed staff were very attentive to our needs and travel arrangements love the well tended gardens and the courtyard with lovely view - perfect setting for breakfast and drinks.

the bathroom fittings can be improved. the sliding door for the toilet was not smooth. the door of the shower was not well fitted and there is significant leakage into the rest of the bathroom. I believe this can be easily adjusted.

Very service minded front desk and front desk staff, including valet service. Their michelin restaurant was incredible. We had an outstanding meal with great local wine and a view to die for. Very quiet and great for relaxing. Amazing surroundings and beautiful building. Private large balcony (we had one of the lesser priced rooms). Charging of electrical car. Nice staff.

Room: The shower was a bath, so we had to hold the handle. Restaurant: For the prices, the service is not good enough. Here I mean, not attentive to needs of new refreshments, mainly. I also received a well-done steak after ordering medium rare and had to wait 20 minutes for a new one, resulting in us not eating together and a cold side dish. The cleaning took very long when we needed to change into swimming gear. The gym was too hot with limited equipment. For the level of stars, some things could be better.

Les Lodges Sainte-Victoire is a beautiful, peaceful property set among lush greenery w/ a stunning view of Montagne Sainte-Victoire. The staff is so friendly, gracious, and accommodating. Although the room was on the smaller side, it was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The large very private balcony was perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee in the morning.

Not a deal-breaker but one evening, my friend and I went to L'Atelier for cocktails after having dinner in Aix. We were still a bit hungry but didn't want a heavy meal, so we asked if we could each just get a salad and french fries. The kitchen accommodated our request but I was a bit put off by being charged $30 each for the meal when the entree including the salad, fries, and protein was $37. That came across to me as maybe an arrogant chef who scoffed at us ordering something "off-menu." Despite my distaste for the price, the salad and fries were outstanding. For what my two cents are worth, I would suggest that L'Atelier offers a small bites/tapas menu for those who might want to nibble over cocktails and limit this menu to the lounge seating areas, not the dinner tables.
