Great location, as are most places in Val Thorens, with access to the slopes via a slightly awkward path next to the boot room. Easy enough for anyone beyond a beginner, but the front door has easy enough access anyway. We had a two bedroom apartment, big enough, easy to cook in. Fridge, freezer, oven and hob all good. Two toilets which is more than i have at home. There's a Spar below it, which seemed reasonable, and the ski hire shop also below is really good value. Finally the pub was as friendly football bar with darts also right below, but the red fox up the hill was a lot more up market.

Boot room was great but heated boot holders would have been nice. You had to go up the magic carpet to get direct access to the boot room which was really slow. You can't park anywhere in Val Thoren so have to leave the car in the car park at €18 a night. I did park outside the hotel for a couple of 3 hour chunks without a tow truck in sight though.

The apartment is quite well equipped with utensils, oven etc, but fairly basic accommodation. Great facilities, lift direct to restaurant, spar shop, chamois sport ski hire shop etc all connected directly. WiFi works well once you get connected to it, but it’s a little finicky. Receptionists are great and very helpful. The boot room is great as it has big lockers secured by key locks (they give you two room keys which is fab), it’s accessible directly from inside and has access directly to the slopes at the rear of the apartment (so ski in/out - thumbs up)

The apartment was a bit tired e.g. shower ok but not great, lower small window on balcony had been boarded up (to be fair I didn’t notice it immediately), dent in one of the internal doors, but given price point overall it was functional, and ok. TV has screen mirroring for Android, but no connectivity for Netflix etc (not in facilities description to be fair). Lifts have a mind of their own, and break down (twice while we’re there), but they do fix them quickly.

fairly large room ,we were 4 adults and had space for our stuff. Everything you need for a week of skiing. Easy access to the ski room and the slopes. Didn't have to do much when leaving ,just taking out the trash to not pay for cleaning.

The kitchen is small. The bedroom with the window can get cold at nights, the radiators are very small in the whole apartment.

A lot of the reviews for this place are pretty harsh given the price point. It's budget accomodation and therefore you should expect a budget experience. Rooms were warm, enough hot water for showers, ski in ski out, lots of storage space, and good location for getting into the town. Rooms were pretty small, but we did fit 6 people into the 6 man - would have been less tight with less people.

Wasn't super happy about the cleaning fee at the end. Thought this should be made obvious when booking, or included in the price. We got our entire deposit back, but I don't think I've ever had to hoover accomodation before leaving before this.

Location was perfect, easy to get back from 360 bar after apres ski. And if you're coming from folie douce there's a run that brings you right to the back door. Ski hire right outside the front door, just make sure you're there 20 mins before it opens so you're not queueing. Room size is fine once you keep it tidy.

Lockers aren't heated so I'd suggest keeping your ski/snow boots in your apartment bathroom to keep them dry. Unless you're experienced at skiing/snowboarding, the ski in ski out is tricky, ended up walking down to the slope most of the time. You're expected to clean your apartment before you leave and bring the bed sheets to the laundry room, if your apartment is left dirty you will lose some of your deposits.

Location, location, location!!! Less than 30 seconds from the external door of the ski room, to the main ski school meeting point. Could not have been better placed for a family with youngish children. Ski shop, pub and excellent supermarket all on site made things convenient.

Our room was cosy and comfortable but on the small side. This is not for those looking for luxury- facilities are basic but adequate. Great location for the slopes but a distance from amenities and nightlife of the village centre.

Ski room backed onto th slope which was amazing, ther was a spar and ski rental in the building which wa great, towels were provided

The rooms were very small, the maste bedroom the door wouldn’t close as the room was too small for a double bed to actually fit in it

Amazing location with great ski-in-ski-out facilities. Room was comfortable and warm.

Small things like binbags, a sponge and dishwasher tabs could be included in the price to help clean up

Nothing really. Maybe instructions for the oven/microw! Clear the ice off the entrance path!
