the apartment was right size, enough space for 6 people. ski lockers were good, with shoe dryers and every apartment has they own locker with lock. it could be a bit bigger, as it was difficult to fit 6 sets of skis. The location was perfect, you get out of ski locker room and walk 5 steps and you can ski down to the slopes.

the heating system in the apartment works during the night. so we woke up every morning with blocked noses and swollen eyes. the little kitchen is very little, there is no working surface. for 6 people there was only one toilet. two bathrooms, but only one toilet. the decor is dated for the price that we payed it was a bit disappointing.

Location could not be better. You could literally jump off the balcony onto the slopes. Our room was on level 1, same as the ski locker room, which is in turn on the same level as the mountain. Everything in the resort was within a short walk, including the sports center, several restaurants, and plenty of shopping. The room itself was small but comfortable, well appointed, and had a nicely equipped kitchen. 24/7 reception desk was a huge plus because showed up at 1am, and it was nice to get the keys quickly and crash. Generally, staff was friendly and helpful, they let us keep the luggage in the locker and hang out on the day of departure well after checkout.

The building interiors are shabby and tired - smelly carpets, stained walls etc. The room we stayed in has been updated with nice finishes, new appliances and fixtures, but you could still see peeling paint and popcorn ceiling. The lobby has a beautiful fireplace that hasn't been lit up once during our stay, and when I asked for it I got a simple "no". The sauna/hammam closes at 7:30, just when you want to use it.

The accommodation was perfect, ski in ski out location. The property is Village Montana Premiere (not the other Village Montanas nearby - got a bit confused upon arrival). Rooms were clean, there were two rooms, both with twin beds (for a total of 4 single beds). One of the rooms in the middle has small lights and no heater, albeit still comfortable. Not enough space if everyone brings large suitcase but I believe can manage. The room is clean and has a nice view. Would book again. The property forgot to collect city tax upon arrival and only called on Day 3 of stay to collect it. Room was available at 2pm upon arrival, instead of 5pm.

Brilliant location, easy access to everything, patisserie opposite for early morning bread and croissants, ski from door, great views! Room was plenty big enough for the four of us, six may have been a squeeze. Heating did not work but it was not cold. Enough storage, cooking facilities were ok, some lights didn't work which made it a little tricky. Boot room was good, easy access and enough space. Reception staff were fab and very helpful.

Maintenance could have been more thorough - some lights did not work, extractor fan did not work, the towel rail in one of the bathrooms was not working and only one heater was working, although the apartment was not cold and we managed ok.

Newly renovated apartment right in the middle of Val Thorens with ski in/ski out access. This one was bigger than most of the other places I have been to and the private parking was just 20m away. There is a boulangerie right next door and plenty of restaurants. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. The staff at the reception was super friendly

Great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Apartment was acceptable. This property does not have a restaurant the offers breakfast (although they do offer delivery of breakfast) and would prefer one that did next time (and I think that is an option at some of their sister locations). Overall great value for money.

VM Plein Sud - Welcoming staff, well designed interior, comfortable beds, plenty of space, good kitchen, nice outlook. Great piste access - intermediates and above.

Had to walk up a steepish hill to get to important village locations & ski school. Ski in/out not suitable for beginners/early intermediates

We’ve stayed with Village Montana for ten years in both Tignes as well as Val Thorens. The locations with ski in and out are excellent, we love the self catering facilities for flexibility, the rooms are warm and comfortable, boot room very convenient and staff are helpful.

The wifi is not good and really needs upgrading with a stronger signal and speed. We would have liked access to English language channels on TV (eg BBC). We have had that in prior years but not this year. Rooms could do with some freshening and updating. The price has risen significantly over the last few years. Also I’m sure costs, but given the premium price charged, there is room for improvement.

Ski in and ski out is exactly what is described. Ski locker is right downstairs and exits out onto the start of a slope. So close to everything!!!

The noise from the pipes if someone is showering in the next room at night, but you get used to it. Could use with bigger/more comfortable pillows

Excellent choice for a family stay. Well-equipped kitchen, towels provided, comfortable beds, large dining room and sitting area. Ski room and luggage room are very convenient as well. Close to the supermarket and ski pass sale, close to ESF ski school, easy access to Gare Routiere for transfers.
