A great variety of runs in Val Thorens itself along with the opportunity to ski across the 3 valleys The accommodation was excellent and the refurbishment has made such a difference, especially to the bathroom. Ski in ski out is so convenient and the public baths and wellness centre in the centre is excellent. Good range of supermarkets dotted all over the resort for all self- catering needs.

It is a bit pricey to eat out but self- catering with a small kitchenette helps. Sometimes in the morning the lower runs are busy but fine if you go higher

Great location for the slopes, ski in & out. Clean & basic accommodation that works well. I stayed in one of the modernized apartments which was lovely.

Too many ski schools meet on the entrance you ski out of causing a stressful exit to the slopes.

Location is just perfect. We did have 6 people two storey apartment and it was great for evening chill out while kids were asleep. Facilities for ski storage at the slope exit level were very convenient. You can literally ski to the apartment

Apartments are really dated and worn. You will only get one roll of toilet paper and one bag for rubbish for the stay.

Great location, room was newly refurbished and clean. Stayed in a two person studio which was very compact but fine. Would probably book a four person apartment next time just for the extra space and a more comfortable bed.

Cheap accommodation in the centre of Val Thorens with direct access to the slopes. Well equipped rooms with everything needed to make a simple meal. We had a great view of the piste from our balcony.

Rooms were a little small with luggage and board bags. The bath was also small but overall for the price it was good.

Location. Facilities. Everything you needed was there. Ski in and ski out. Supermarket was 3 mins walk as were the bars and restaurants. Awesome place to stay.

The room is to small for 4 adults, there were no chairs in the room , only 2 benches, that you can take out to the balcony and enjoy the sun
