This is a charming hotel in a great location (5min walk to the beach and all its restaurants). The staff was very friendly, breakfast full of homemade treats, and included my personal favourite: an egg cooking station for lovely soft boiled eggs and soldiers.

The beds were comfortable enough but small. Take this with a pinch of salt though, we are used to a California king bed and this was probably a standard double. We knew this going in though and it is the price to pay staying in a quainter location.

Very nice and cosy hotel! We had "charming" rooms in the old villa building, they are completely renovated, very clean with comfortable beds. The yard and hall for breakfast also very nice and charming.

One of the rooms we booked had only mansard windows (windows in the roof) so it was impossible to look outside and only in the sky. Unfortunately, in the description during booking it was not specified that some rooms have only this type of window. The hotel put all the photos of "charming rooms" as one type of room in booking while they were very different, the majority with large french style windows (first 12 photos), but the other only with mansard windows so you do not understand what you will get after booking. It was very disappointing to have a room without real window.

Marvelous, elegant property in elegant Sainte-Adresse. Comfortable room in the main building, beautifully and thoughtfully appointed. Absolutely clean and well maintained. Excellent, responsive messaging at all times. Easy, flexible check-in. Lovely garden and grounds. Near good restaurants. Easy, frequent access to and from Le Havre by public transportation. Easy access to the cliff of Sainte-Adresse, painted by Monet, and to Notre-Dame du Flots at the top. Best possible hotel breakfast, quite remarkable in fact, with friendliest, English-speaking staff. Overall, my highest recommendation.

There‘s nothing not to like about this quality property.

The breakfast room and facilities offered were great. The staff were friendly and approachable even with the language barrier! Location for access to the seafront was fabulous. The showers and bathrooms were clean and chic.

The hairdryer in the bathroom was difficult for me to use. I'm disabled and struggled to stand at the bathroom sink holding the hairdryer and pressing the power button constantly. Could do with being a bit more disabled user friendly.

This is a lovely place. Do not skip the awesome breakfast! With amazing jams, cheeses, croissants, fresh puddings, etc. Served in two rooms decorated with rustic charm. Their coffee machine is wonderful! The staff is super friendly. The hotel is walking distance to the sea, or to top of hills with a view. It is very tranquil. A sign says they welcome dogs also.

Maybe the place is not for mobility-challenged folks as I do not think there is a lift to upper floors in main house. Our sink was newly installed and the tap was a bit wobbly.

La Bonne Addresse is a real charming hotel: housed in an old refurbished mansion, it is very comfortable and nice. Not really close to downtown Le Havre, but very close to sea shore amenities. Room was somewhat small, but comfortable and nicely outfitted. Staff were very empathic and helpful, breakfast was remarkable. Definitely a recommended location.

We had a private bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. No A/C (which we Americans prefer), but there was a nice cross breeze once we opened the windows when the sun was no longer shining on them. There was a broken fan in the closet, but we didn't tell the staff about it as open windows was fine.

It was awkward for me to step up into the bathroom, but I managed.

Quiet location, a short drive from the ferry terminal, close to the seashore. Comfortable rooms with nice bed linen and very good pillows. Clean and well thought out for an overnight stay before travelling through France.

Reception is up a flight of steps - no signage to warn not to drag luggage up there as several rooms are in another part of the establishment (oldies: save your energy!)

The setting, Manor House feeling and detailing, the well-presented and tasty breakfast. Access to the stay was easy even with our late arrival. Parking on nearby streets was available and free of charge. Having the bathroom sink in bedroom alongside with decoration with wash basin and water pitcher was a nice hint to history.

Nothing to complain really.

The staff at reception was very helpfull and kind. The room we got for the price we payed, was even better than we expected. Very quiet and clean place. Charming stylish building and cosy rooms. Very good place (quiet area), just a few minutes to the beach.
