Everything on site looked and worked exactly as advertised. We spent a very pleasant week of vacation here. Interesting building with a large landscaped park around in a very quiet and safe location. Parking in the yard, even when the hotel is full with plenty of space for cars. Amazing owner, always smiling, helpful and friendly. Great rich breakfast, always prepared on time. On the day of arrival, a very tasty dinner awaited us. The room was just the right size, regularly cleaned perfectly, as was the entire hotel and its surroundings. If we were to return to the Auvergne region, which is likely because we were captivated by it, we would love to stay here again. Thank you very much and best regards

Although the hotel is located in a remote location, it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The facilities were modern, clean, and well-maintained. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and clearly made with care, offering a real taste of the region. What truly made the stay special was the owner, who was incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. If you're looking for peace, comfort, and warm hospitality off the beaten path, this place is a hidden gem.

The room was beautifully furnished, with a luxurious, castle-like charm that felt truly special — possibly designed for a honeymoon stay. However, the bathroom in our room wasn’t separated from the main room, which might suit a newlywed couple, but might not be ideal for everyone.

So beautiful and special. It was a perfect stop as we travelled from Provence to Brittany. The dinner was amazing, home cooked, breakfast was lovely. The owner takes good care. And absolutely love Emma, the sweet doggo of the house.

I don’t love not having a shower head mounted on the wall.

Huge, comfortable room, massage shower, separate toilet. Great meal on arrival. Amazing breakfast. A bottle of wine on the terrace, in the shade. Great location for touring

Very comfortable Hotel. The evening meal was excellent and good value for money. The Breakfast was also great. The only negative I would have is that the bathroom (not the toilet!) is in the bedroom . I personally prefer a separate bathroom.

Wonderful stay! In a beautiful little village – a fantastic location. The castle is full of charm and has a personal feel. The homemade food was delicious, and the host was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay; the location is fantastic, the rooms are luxurious and beautifully decorated, the garden is beautiful! The host was extremely helpful and friendly and provided an amazing dinner for us. The breakfast was also superb!

I loved the chateau , decor was lovely Roomy beds nice bath lovely luxurious carpet Breakfast was very Generous and included in the price The dog was very cute as well We had dinner there that night as it was our wedding anniversary we booked in advance We also took some homemade jam away with those lovely postcard of the chateau The owner suggested Lovely area called Boudes Valley of the saints red sandstone rocks like Colorado If you are up to hiking two hrs instead we found the Roman source just past the village of Bardes Also in the village there is an old ruin of a chateau , tower is restored In the setting of a public park worth a visit

Well sadly we would have loved to stay longer It would be nice If they showed some of the menu’s or photos to give you an idea . Choice was limited .

Loved our stay in the manor. Brilliant location and environment and Jerome was a superb host. Wonderful breakfast and supper for an extra tariff was a superb option.

The location is great, easy to find off the main route. Room was excellent, decorated with such love and stylish, great size (we had Deluxe room for a family of four). It was my first experience of an overnight stay where mattress and bedding are better than those at home. I slept perfectly well. Breakfast was above expectations, with the same touch of excellence as the chateau style. Overall, I would love to come back - and we definitely will as the region warrants much more than a short stopover.
