It was our second stop as a family with 2 kids, 2y and 7m old, in Ace hotels, and it was pretty much the same as in Bourges - the hotel is in the area where you don’t walk to enjoy the sightseeing but it is convenient not to enter the city traffic when we just pass the city on our way home from Normandy. There is a free parking, there are restaurants around, and there is a breakfast in the hotel with convenient timing and with enough food and drink choices for adults and kids. The Triple room that we took was spacious, clean, quiet, with very comfortable beds. Good lights, free crib for the baby and a single bed for our son, large double bed for us. Space to park the stroller in the room, to put our luggage, clothes, comfortable organize change of diapers etc, and for kids to play, to sit at a table. Stuff is very nice, we had overall a great short stay.

The family room is very spacious and comfortable. There were one doubled bed plus three singles, no bunk beds which makes a difference. We never take breakfast but it was already available at 7am when we left the hotel. The place was clean including the bathroom with towels for everyone and some shower gel and hand soap. The location is great next to a supermarket and plenty of restaurants.

I liked everything but I would only ask for a kettle in the room. It is not an essential but adds a bonus to a very comfortable place. It doesn't stop me from booking with Ace which we have done multiple times.

It was within easy access of the main roads with lots of restaurants around it. We we had a good view of Puy du Dome. Hotel is not in the zone where you need to show your admissions sticker. Rooms are clean and so is the hotel

Breakfast was a bit a squash but it was all fresh. One receptionist was Bilingual the other wasn't! Coffee facilities are down stairs but available if you ask. People who bring their dogs don't clean up after them so avoid grass areas.

Clean and comfortable. Staff we’re helpful and polite. Good location for a short one night stop on the way and back from our final destination in Spain. Restaurants were close by to walk to after a long drive.

Not a lot not to like but if I were being picky I’d say pillows were not great and was left with a sore neck. Wouldn’t bother with the breakfast as not worth the price as there’s a Lidals close by or stop off at a service station.

Good easy location with restaurants around it; allowed my bike to be stored in separate room. Good breakfast.

The pillows were not so comfortable; too square, felt like air got trapped into it, not allowing my head to rest as i would like to have.

Lovely and smiley staff, breakfast was just right, clean and comfortable big bed. Great car parking facility, secure and bright and very welcoming to pets. Overall really relaxing stay.

Towels a bit small for a shower, could have done with another pillow and the room had a slightly unpleasant smell, as if it had been an old smoker's room.

Perfect for a night stopover on our way home from Spain. Comfortable. Clean. Lovely staff and great little breakfast in the morning!

Could have better pillows- but I guess I am fussy and was too tired to ask reception for more.

Location couldn’t be better. So easy to access and exit to A71/A75. Just 2 minutes from Exit 1. Good breakfast which we took to our room - to be with our dog. Dog friendly hotel which is ESSENTIAL for our travel requirements with our special 3legged dog.

Selection at breakfast was good.

We were travelling with a ‘disabled’ dog (he recently had a leg amputated). Although dog was welcome in our hotel room we were restricted at breakfast. We realise we couldn’t take dog into breakfast room but we were unable to take our breakfast to our room. This meant my partner and I had to eat separately in the breakfast room.

Room and bed very comfortable with a good level of cleanliness. Good choice of buffet breakfast items. Good car parking.

Not keen on the handheld shower. Would have been preferable for the shower to be fixed to the wall.
