The facilities in the residence were very nice (swimmingpool, hammam, sauna, fitness)

The swimming pool room was a bit cold (in October), and I didn’t know beforehand that the sauna and hammam were off-limits for kids under 16. We went with three kids under 16, so it was a big problem, and unfortunately we had to bend that rule in order to have a relaxing stay and be together as a family. Also, a big minus were the late check-in (5-8pm) and early check-out (7:30-10:00). We really only had two full days there, and a big part of the last night was spent cleaning (according to precise instructions the staff left at the door!) and packing up, because with three kids we couldn’t possibly wake up the following day in time to eat breakfast and still leave the appartment according to the instructions, before 10 am.

Very family friendly: toy area for kids, kids pool, stroller friendly access. Also very good price for that quality of room. The staff at reception were also lovely.

The wifi really did not work at all, even when we were given new codes. It kept kicking us off and was too slow to actually be functional. So if you are coming from another country be prepared for very large roaming fees on your phone!

We could not fault the residence. (Found the digital oven baffling - but that is just because we are elderly!)

poor Wi-Fi, hot water only worked once we called down for help, pool area was too cool to enjoy, hot tubs weren’t hot - cold the whole week. seemed expensive for what we got vs other places we’ve stayed at in Samoens.
