Pretty, authentically styled accommodation. Good sized bedroom with hideaway kitchen (great idea!) We didn’t use the pool as busy skiing every day. However we used the bar/lounge area which was super cosy with an open fire. We ordered bakery items for our breakfast each day which we collected from reception. Stephanie on reception/bar deserves a special mention for her excellent service.

Location was great, just a short walk from the ski bus stop and a 10 minute walk into the village. Facilities were good with ski lockers, a spa with sauna and hamman (extra cost). Staff cheerful and very accommodating

Beautiful, cosy and authentic. 1min walk to ski bus stop. Close to gondola station in Samoens and not far from Vercland and Morillon. Hot tub, sauna and pool were perfect after a day on the slopes.

The reception, bar, lounge and pool closes at 8pm. The walls in the apartment are somewhat thin.

Very nice hotel run by a family, comfortable, cosy and charming. Management and staff are very friendly and helping, bus stop in front of the hotel to get to the cabins, 10min on foot from the city centre, 15-20 min on foot from Carrefour (Supermarket). We’ll go back!

This was our second ski trip to Samoens and it didn’t disappoint. It is such a pretty little town with plenty of restaurants, bars and cute shops. The location of La Renardiere is good, the ski bus stop is just opposite the entrance to the driveway. Excellent that you can order fresh bread to be delivered each morning for breakfast, it tasted amazing. Rooms are well equipped, comfortable and clean. Had a wonderful massage in the hotel spa, so relaxing after a few days skiing. Only a short walk into town, plenty of nice restaurants however you do need to book several days in advance for the more popular ones.

The temperature of the water in the swimming pool was too cold, it did not make for a pleasant experience. Similarly the jacuzzi/hot tub needed the temperature of the water raising as it was a bit tepid. It is quite a walk to the main supermarket, however you can hop on the ski bus during the day.

It was a calm, peaceful and very quiet stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was perfect location for getting the shuttle bus to the lifts. The pool was wonderful at the end of the day. It was warm and cosy and comfortable.

The decoration of the whole hotel is traditional which adds a lot of charm to your stay. The room was big and clean. The staff was particularly nice and happy to help you with anything. The pool and spa are medium but nice enough for a nice relaxing moment after a sporty day. The location is perfect, in the small and charming Samoëns village, very close to hiking an skiing places - and with nice cafes, restaurants and typical cheese & bread shops!

Accommodating of late arrival - very easy instructions. Lots of parking. Great sized room - very comfortable. Nice swimming pool and sun loungers.

Room very warm during hot weather - too hot for sleeping even with patio door fully open - and no fan available. Shower not the best.

It’s perfectly situated and great value for money! The common area is cosy and the facilities are super with the pool and the spa! Make sure to book a massage!

The pillows and quilts need replacing.

Lovely lounge and bar where there was always a roaring fire. Enjoyed use of the indoor pool. Great after a days skiing. Easy walking distance into town.
