Great to be back at one of our favorite overnight stops as we travel through France. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The location is very quiet. We ate on the terrace and were very well looked after by Madame and her staff - all of whom are friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. We will be sure to stay again on a future French holiday.

Fabulous family run hotel with gorgeous bedroom, large bathroom and private car park. Lovely atmosphere throughout which was a real bonus as we had only booked for its location as a southbound stopover. Totally dog friendly and there is a great outdoor nature area 2 km away for a morning walk before onward travel. We had a real treat here as it has a wonderful menu and wine list, and an excellent breakfast too. All outstanding. Highly recommend. We will definitely plan to stay again when northbound. Hotel and room authentically French. Restaurant in separate building directly across narrow street, was superb. Expensive but paying for a excellence of cuisine and brilliant wine list. Service was very professional and clear to see why it enjoys such a good reputation - well supported by locals. Private carpark for hotel guests.

Breakfast was average and room was tiny, though traditional range of options was available. Stairs to bedrooms a bit challenging for the less athletic!

We stayed here on our way down South for one night. The staff were so friendly, attentive and charming. The room was great. The restaurant served superb food and an amazing wine list and selection of local cheeses- highly recommended. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection of fresh fruit, pastries coffee etc. we had a wonderful short stay. The village is so pretty and ideally located a short drive from the motorway yet you feel you are in a rural area. Don’t hesitate booking this place!

Although I had booked a standard room we were upgraded to a Junior Suite which was situated in the main building. The room was spacious with separate toilet and massive bathroom with bath, separate shower and washbasin fitted into large marble shelf. Decor was great and everything spotlessly clean. The restaurant was a complete surprise - we had expected a good restaurant but this one was on a Michelin-starred level, with prices to match! However the food was superb, and the weather was pleasant enough for us to eat outside in the very attractive small terrace.

The hotel is situated in a small village and there didn’t appear to be any alternative places to eat, so if you weren’t happy to pay the high prices in the hotel restaurant, that could be a problem. Having had amazing food in the restaurant, we were disappointed in breakfast the next morning. Small choice of bread, rolls, croissants etc. But no fresh fruit or fruit salads usually found in buffet breakfasts.

We had an excellent first stay here. We stayed with our two small dogs. The room was great, being just across the road from the restaurant. This made it feel more private. The room was very spacious, with a small fridge and a coffee machine. The bathroom had a bath and a shower and there was a separate toilet. We had a wonderful meal in the restaurant. I had been to a Michelin starred restaurant in London the day before and the food at this hotel was of a higher standard in my opinion. The host was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.

The staff were very good and they kindly made arrangements for my husband to have breakfast downstairs, as their breakfast restaurant is upstairs. The restaurant was very good indeed. We were made most welcome and will stay again. Our dog was able to come into the restaurant with us, which was not necessary, but a very nice gesture.

It was a good stay. Staff were friendly. Restaurant was delicious codon-blue cuisine but was very expensive. Service first class. Room was comfortable. Good location from autoroute.

We were asked in early May to decide whether we wanted to eat at the restaurant. I didn't reply because we not able to make a decision so far ahead. So there wasn't a table for us but the owner accommodated us in the bar for a superb meal.

Situated in a quiet village just north of Tours. We had the junior suite on the top floor of the main building. This was very comfortable apart from the bedding which had the new style of duvet covers - ribbed. This really was not to our liking. The main highlight was the fantastic food in the restaurant. Excellent but pricy.
