The location is a long way from the city centre but easily accessible from the autoroute. The room was very big and everything to cater for yourself was provided even a little dishwasher.

The original receptionist was very difficult and purposely misunderstood me but all other staff I had contact with were great. It would be good to have more things available to buy eg. d drink and food machines as there are not many shops close by.

The room was very comfortable, everything well organized and having access to the parking place in the same floor was a big help to make easier to load and unload our vehicle. The kids enjoyed and we got good rest staying there.

The deposit return took some days to come in effect at my bank. Initially I thought it would be right away but I guess that was a misunderstanding from my side, and could be also more on my bank side, I couln't really tell for sure. But it's good to have that in mind. Anyway everything went rightfully processed at the end, so not a huge deal.

Very spacious apartment with a very nice bed and well equipped kitchenette, clean, quiet and comfortable at a perfect location right next to the Route du Soleil at a very reasonable price. Perfect stop-over!

Just some details: the kitchenette was well equipped (even with a diswasher and diswasher tabs and a small set with cloth and dishwashing liquid) but had no kitchen towels and no facilities to make coffee or tea. The restaurant in the same building was closed (on Sundays) and apart from a supermarket, a Burger King and a pizzeria there was nothing much at a walking distance. (Center of town at a 25 min walk.)

The breakfast was conservative and not within my desired standard. Communication with staff was a bit difficult due to language barrier. I suggest, consideration be given to English speaking guests.

There was no provision of tea and coffee for guests in room. Also no electric jug or kettle

Space! Big rooms, very big. Parking, access. Cheap!

-Airco did not work in this room -Finding reception at arrival, (been for second time, again... searching) -Rooms 20x are on third floor parking, 30x fourth floor etc, weird.

We only stayed for one night at "Tulip Inn Thionville" and we liked it. It's a typical chain-hotel with a standard equipment but with a good price-performance-ratio. The hotel is situated near a quite busy road so it's maybe not the calmest place but for us it was ok. Info: If you want to check in after 21h you have to contact the reception and pay the amount of the reservation in advance. I arrived around 3 o'clock in the morning and it was no problem. The staff was friendly and polite. The room is quite spacey and you have a small kitchen area, everything was clean and working. The bathroom was also quite big. I like the fact that the check-out is quite late at 12pm. The hotel is not far away from the border to Luxemburg, so maybe a good opportunity to stay if you want to visit the next day. There is a big garage with a lot of parking space for a lot of cars. The hotel is pet-friendly. For us it was a good accomodation for one night during our road-trip, we would come again.

Everything was okay. Maybe not the calmest place (near busy road) but with easy access. We did not try breakfast so i cannot tell anything about that.

I liked the spacious apartment and the free parking connecting to the rooms. Everything was very clean and comfortable. I also liked that there were 2 toilets, a hair dryer and a towel heater.

The blanket of the sofa bed could have been wider (it's rather small for 2 people to fit in). The smell in the corridors was a little old and crusty. The view from our bedroom wasn't so great (but I guess it depends of the availabilities).

We stayed overnight on a road trip across Europe, the stay started on a funny note as we were handed the tv remote at reception which I have never experienced before. The room was spacious with a good kitchen which we didn't use. The location was better than expected as it was only a short walk to the city centre. Good value for money with great parking facilities for free. It was surprising that we had to pay a 140 Euro deposit for one night, however it was fully refunded with no issues.

Enormous and very clean

A bit of a rabbit warren and the lights only come on after you’ve entered the corridor so you are in the dark for a couple of seconds. But those are minor niggles. Overall it was very good value for money.

The breakfast was not good enough and didn’t meet my expectations. It can not be rated as continental buffet with just bread, cornflakes and croissants. The breakfast for me was absolutely poor and unsatisfactory.

A complete continental buffet breakfast containing egg, omelette, sausages, vegetables, baked beans, fresh fruits etc.
