We used this hotel as a stop over on our way back from Austria to the UK, and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first saw the hotel but the adage, don't judge a book by its cover could not be more apt. The restaurant was first rate, coupled with very friendly and helpful staff and a comfortable room made this a perfect stopover

There is no car park, so you have to park a few hundred meters away, either on street or I used the Casino car park which is near by. Not sure if I was allowed to do that but everything worked out fine

Breakfast was excellent. A good variety of choice. We could see that was on offer and could choose to our hearts content. It was an enjoyable experience.

Beds were among the most comfortable I have ever had. So comfy! Thank you for the perfect firm mattress. Very nice room, well appointed. Breakfast was elegant. The woman serving breakfast was very kind. Quiet.

The host was very friendly and helpful. We arrived as a group of 4 on 3 vespa scooters. He very kindly let us park them in his personal garage overnight.

No air con... we arrived in the middle of a heat wave, although the big windows opened very wide which allowed us to cool the room

Excellent location, near the spa and park, on a silent road, parking spot in front of the hotel. Comfortable beds, clean room, very good shower.
