The town and the valley! Everything is easily accessible! We appreciated the quite of this town, but its convenient connection to major location like Argentiere and Chamonoix.

In the past there were some sun-beds in a dedicated area next to the swimming pool. It was great to sun-tan after swimming. Now the sun-beds were removed and after our request to reception desk it was declared that they were removed because some customers brought to the swimming pool some grass (although dedicated area is on a wooden floor and next to it there is not grass). It would be great to have solarium back!

Good location. Nice stay. You can find keys and get to your apartment even if you come late. Lots of free parking spaces nearby.

It is your duty to find some representative and then ask to pay city tax, get complimentary stuff etc. Their availability seems very limited. So if you need free train tickets etc from them, you have to take care of it yourself. Even if you book something in advance, you have to ask for it from on the help desk, e.g. baby cots. You also need to bring your toiletries, kitchen soaps tissue papers etc. As written in other reviews. I recommend to get even your own bedsheets and pillow covers. Their‘s were not very clean. You would enjoy the stay if you plan these things in advance.

It was clean and calm, with very pleasant service. To stay with a family you will find everything you need. 2 toilets in 2 rooms, covered parking with trolleys, to move baggage, piscine, wellness, and great surrounding with many options for easy and as well difficult hiking. SUI 15 min, Mont Blanc, 25 min! Only think about the fact, that closest bakery is 10 min by car! Out of season is closed bar, but there is one hidden, behind the site.

If you plan to go for longer, don't forget to take your toilet paper and bags for rubbish, as there is a limit, odes not matter, how long you stay. As well salt, coffee, etc... The only thing we missed, but was not urgent is a small swimming pool with warm water for kids. Big one was 26 degrree what is good for active swimming.

Ideally located for Le Tour and Les Grand Montets, and Chamonix town centre is only a 24 minutes drive or you can use the free hourly train. The Ski lift is literally at the end of the Hotel, however we chose to drive to Le Tour for our early morning lessons. The Pool and Steam Room was excellent, very clean and a great size. We really like the under water jets. Note you will need to bring a spare towel. Rooms were a good size and the living room/kitchen with wrap-around balcony was huge. Great facilities and full set of utensils in the Kitchen, it had everything we needed. Parking was also fantastic, a massive 3 level, underground car park with the Boot room ideally located by the exit to load-up in the mornings. There's also lift access throughout the entire hotel, which was great for tired legs. Breakfast was OK, but simple (continental) it was better and cheaper to self cater and stock-up at Carrefour just outside Chamonix city centre. Dinner at the Bar/Cafe was excellent, great quality, choice and a friendly service, we used it 3 out of the 6 days of our stay. Reception was also very friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay here again!

The hot water was temperamental, we're guessing when all the guests arrive back, due to demand, they deplete the hotwater before it has a chance to replenish. More than one occasion we had to wait 30 - 60 mins for the hotwater to return. Not any fault of the hotel, but if anyone suffers from travel sickness, make sure the little ones look out of the window for the twisty, hair-pin bend roads.

Great parking facility. Trolleys to take luggage to rooms. Ski room was easy access from car park and very good drying space and lockers. Secure. The accommodation was superb. Everything had been thought about and very comfortable and clean. Staff were exceptionally friendly and so helpful. One of the best places we’ve stayed and would definitely return.

Minor detail really but TV wouldn’t connect to the phone to stream but we did have a laptop to connect to. Could have been phone 😬

Location close to train station, cable car and Swiss border. Decent sauna, pool, hot tub and steam bath facilities. Guests are provided with amenity starter kit (dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets, cleaning brush, matches, shampoo and body wash). Kitchen is well equipped.

Shower water pressure in spa area is very weak. They do not replace your toilet paper if you run out. The nearest supermarket is not near but in Chamonix so best to come prepared.

This is my second stay at Dormio, last year I had an apartment in building À, but this time I had apartment in section C. I appreciate the experience provided by Dormio and I would gladly return next year!

Everything was similar to what I knew and appreciated from last year, except for the couch which needs to be replaced in apartment C15 because it's almost unusable when it's retracted.

i loved the sauna amd steam room and the rooms had everything you need for a self catering holiday: They were very clean too. Given the price i found this extremely reasonable. The reception staff (Pauline) was super helpful and had loads of useful local information on hiking routes, shops, restaurants and all the rest. A great team, a great place, a tranquil location and great for the soul.

The accommodation is located in the beautiful village of Vallorcine which offers a true escape into nature and yet, thanks to the free train tickets provided and a train station located just in front of the residence, it takes just about half an hour to reach the touristic centre of Chamonix. Vallorcine itself offers a cable car which takes you to one of the most scenic hiking paths in the Alps. The residence seems newly renovated and offers an outstanding wellness area with a dry and wet sauna, whirlpool and a really nice, big swimming pool with breath-taking views of the mountains. The flats are small but effective with nice terraces and wooden designs.

The beds were too soft.

Good location not too far from Chamonix, and quiet. You receive free tickets for the train that takes you directly to Chamonix so you do not need to use your car during your stay. We also got a nice price because it was off-season. The apartment is very cozy and spacious, perfect for trips in groups. They provide a cleaning kit for the kitchen that is really useful.

Facilities could use an update (especially the pool and jacuzzi), but nonetheless, everything was in okay condition, and above all it was clean.
