For the price this was a great little hotel. Great swimming pool area with nice sunbeds. Good sized room and bathroom. We didn’t eat here as lots of great cafes and restaurants in town but an ok bar and the receptionist kindly brought us drinks round the pool.

Just a bit tired and would benefit from an update overall but can’t complain for the price and the staff were lovely and friendly. Good location for Vence which is a great town and easy trip tomorrow St Paul de Vence too. Fantastic value stay for south of France and a pool in August.

We had a fabulous time. We loved this little gem of a hotel. Great location - less than a 10 min walk from the old town and the lovely squares to eat. The garden was an added delight . We had great fun in the pool and the staff were super friendly. This was a few days chilling for us before onwards travel to Antibes and it was prefect for this , but also a great base to visit other places in the Cote D'Azur . We did visit Saint Paul de Vence - a couple of stops on the bus ( 5 mins walk). We booked a ground floor room - this definitely added to the wonderful experience as we could access the garden and pool from our patio . Rated as 3* but much better than higher rated hotels.

A very minor suggestion - a light on the patio or in the garden would be great.

The location is perfect, it only takes a few minutes to walk into the old center of Vence. There’s a parking lot just across the street for 2€ a day if you don’t reserve a space at the hotel itself. The hotel is simple but decent; our bed was comfortable. The staff is very helpful and friendly; the restaurant we were advised for dinner absolutely exceeded our expectations. We also enjoyed having breakfast in the garden and relaxing at the pool in the afternoon.

I loved everything. They even had our name on our reserved parking. The staff was very nice and helpful and the swimming pool is really a plus in the summer of South of France where it was extremely hot and also so glade to haf air conditioning. We loved the balcony. it's so french.

No kettle in our room witch surprised us as we come from Ireland and we always get kettle to make tea in hotels there. My friends next to our room had one so we used theirs.

The Le Floreal Hotel in Vence was a very nice hotel that met all of our needs. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was good, with seating in the lovely garden located next to the pool. We were pleased that parking was available, along with a small bar. Our room was garden side, which made sitting alongside the garden a nice relaxing place to unwind.

The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and the property is walking distance to town. We were there for a short stay and everything was comfortable and convenient. The property and facilities are basic without being fancy, but it was perfect for us.

The hotel is close to the road and there is no view, but for our short stay, this wasn't a problem for us.

The location was away from the centre, but close enough for a 10 minute easy stroll to the center. The hotel itself is old and reminds me of the 1980s Brutalist architecture of the old Soviet Union, but nonetheless clean and the rooms were actually bigger than most hotel rooms around the area, with the added bonus of a very good sized balcony. Although we didn't use the pool, it was a good size with a depth of 0.90metres on one end and 2.50 metres on the other, so deep enough for a dive. Although we were only there for a night, every staff we came across was friendly and helpful

Breakfast was really not that great, the sausages were awful and the scrambled eggs not edible at all (too watery). Soft baked cookies were delicious though! But for what's on offer, the charge for breakfast was not worth what was offered in our opinion. Not sure what to make of the €10 a night for car parking in front of the hotel when just behind the hotel there's off street (free) parking that's almost always available

Loved the location and the pool. Room was spacious and comfortable

Would have liked glasses in our room for water. And would have liked to enjoy our own bottle of wine on the balcony which is not allowed Despite what it says on booking .com parking was not free, and was charged at 10 € daily. We were told this was because it was busy but most days we stayed there were several empty parks. Breakfast was an extra charge but it was good. Staff were very friendly. We particularly enjoyed Justine, who was delightful and helpful.

The hotel is in a great location - an easy 10 minute walk into Vence centre. The rooms are clean, a good size and with nice bathrooms. The pool was nice and the staff were very friendly. It’s a grassy base for a visit to Vence.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

Good customer service and the ‘snacks’ are good quality and fine for a meal! I didn’t mind walk into old town. Although not scenic, it’s good exercise and broadens insights into residential life.

The property could do with a paint inside and outside and more care of the garden. The tiles in the pool need a good clean.
