I was fortunate to get a room on the 6th floor, with stunning views. The room was spacious and clean. I really enjoyed my stay!

Friendly staff, allowed us to leave our bags securely as we arrived a long time before check in. Complimentary bottle of wine was appreciated. Large room with a large balcony, beautiful zebra wood furniture, large comfortable bed, good Aircon, large TV, reasonable prices of food/beer in hotel (unlike the Radisson which is totally overpriced beer). Facilities are great, billiards, sauna, therapies, jazz bar with great live music on the roof terrace. Breakfast was good, a large selection to keep any nationality happy.

Although English is not widely spoken,there was always a staff member who was fluent in English. The staff were wonderful,helping and organising personal tours,and the train back to Tbilisi. The Monarch Hotel is the only place in the world,in my experience ,that offered Caviar at the breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet was so good,with many choices and fresh fruit. The location is just around the corner from Europe Square,and walking distance to many sites.

The friendliest, warmest staff I’ve ever came across. They generously assisted me even when I needed personal assistance unrelated to my stay at the hotel, and they consistently accommodated our needs as a Muslim family. Delicious variant breakfast options. Room was Spacious, comfy, clean, and elegant. Perfect hotel location with shops, cafes, parks, and the beach all within a walking distance. Plus on our final morning, we were given lunchboxes to travel with, which we truly appreciated.

Hotel Monarch has a great location and is perfect if you want to be in old town and able to walk to most sights, including the seaside boulevard walk. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room modern and clean. Breakfast was decent but nothing special. The hotel also has a really nice roof top with a great view.

My only complaint would be that the balcony looked a lot better in the pictures than in reality. I was on the first floor and the balcony was quite small and the balcony door was the only window for the room, so the room felt a bit dark.

The hotel is beautiful, the room was very big , like a small apartment with a large bed and a sitting area. The bathroom is also very big and pampering with a rain shower , and a very big bath . Beautiful and convenient. Excellent water pressure The hotel is located in the old city , an excellent location , a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The breakfast is not bad but you expect more from a hotel like this. No oats or something, which is not sweet to eat with yogurt. When something finished, nobody filled it unless you asked for it. The coffee machine is working very vert slowly, not enough for all the guests. And because there is only one lift , in the morning you can wate few minutes it is occupied by the housekeeping. If you in a hurry to get a taxi or plane, it is a little bit disturbing. All of these are small things that can be fixed easily...

The hotel gave us a great room despite the late hour of checkin, and gave us such gracious service and attended and solved all our needs! Marie was especially helpful! She got my fiancee soy milk (she's sensitive) and helped with special foods for vegetarians! We could never have asked for a more helpful staff! The rooms are clean and spacious, and everything worked perfectly! Thank you for making a long day relaxing and restful, and for making our first trip to Batumi unforgettable! Marie you are the absoloute best, when we come back we know where we'll stay ;) Also helping us with a late checkout so we could get organized for our uncertain flight.

We wish we could stay longer :) Some lactose intolerant/vegetarian coffee options could be great (Soy milk, almond milk, etc)

Central location. Comfortable and clean rooms. Reasonable-good breakfast.

We got to the room - the fridge didn't cool down. A waiter raised the temperature. It wasn't cold yet. I arrived with medicines knowing there was a fridge. The safe was locked and not opened. We called the waiter again. A towel was missing. The room should be ready for the guests without them having to repeatedly call for help. In addition, the only elevator in the hotel was not available. Multiple use by hotel employees who do not have an elevator to monitor the use of guests.

In Batumi the weather is often tricky, so it's important to stay at a good place. The Monarch Hotel met our expectations and we had a great time there. What I liked most: - a free-of-charge sauna in the SPA zone and the bathtub in our room. Perfect ways for unwinding on rainy days. - a big TV set, which you might enjoy during the frequent rains in Batumi. - the breakfast buffet offered a decent variety of options. - the rooftop bar had an incredible view, adding to the overall charm of the hotel. Overall, we found the hotel to be nice and well-maintained. Our room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and housekeeping ensured cleanliness every day. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This place is very central, walking distance to every tourist attraction. The rooms are big and comfortable; as well as clean. When we checked in, we were greeted with a plate of local pastries along with a welcome note from the General Manager. The breakfast was wide range with selection of charcuteries, vegetables, fruits, bread and cereals, as well as confectionery. The only problem about the room was that the wi-fi was weak. We weren't in the room for most of the day, so it wasn't a huge deal for us and we didn't complain to the staff, but we left it as a feedback during the check-out. The cleaning staff took out our trash and made our beds whenever we asked them to. When we first checked-in, they gave us the cards for the wrong room. Right when we entered our room, they called from the reception and told us that we were in the wrong room, which was frustrating. Then we were moved to our own room. Thankfully, it was actually the room I booked on the website, so we didn't make a big deal out of it. Also, during the check-out, the General Manager of the hotel personally met us, apologized and gave us a late check out for free, which was very nice of him. I saw some people in the comments, complaining about the wallpapers coming out, but I think that's because the city is very very humid, and from what I've seen in comments of every hotel I have checked out in Booking.com, (probably) every hotel in the city has mold, but I have not had any problems with that or the wallpapers during my stay at Monarch Hotel. As mentioned before, the room was very clean, comfortable and airy.

It didn't make our stay less pleasant, but the male staff sometimes seemed to be walking around with un-ironed and un-tucked shirts, which makes them look unprofessional. Also, except for the ladies in the reception and the general manager, they don't speak English or Turkish well enough for a clear communication.
