Nina was incredibly kind and helpful. Even though there was a bit of a language barrier, we still managed to have a pleasant conversation. She treated us to various snacks and refreshments. The rooms were clean, and having a bidet spray was definitely a plus. While there wasn’t a mini fridge or kettle in the room, there’s a common area downstairs where you can make yourself tea or coffee. Overall, it was a lovely experience for us.

The only thing that could make the stay even better would be the addition of bathroom slippers in the rooms.

It was a pleasure to stay at Chogo (we stayed for 3 nights). Nino is amazing host, very calm, helpful lady. Room was spacious, fresh and very clean. On arrival we were offered the local wine and Nino showed us the house. Downstairs is spacious kitchen area with coffee/tee facilities available without any extra charge and fireplace. Nino offered to light a fireplace for us if we are interested, so the second evening we spent downstairs at the fireplace. Absolutely recommend this place for stay in Kutaisi.

1. The owner, Nino, who is such an amazing person. She hardly speaks English, but she goes out of her way to accommodate your needs. From an airport pick-up, a welcome wine/cognac (which, btw, made by his brother) to a free city night tour (w/ ☕️ ). 2. The location. Far from a busy road but still accessible to shops for basic needs. 3. The home in general. Clean, cozy and homey vibes. Bonus: Nino's brother toured us for 2 days with reasonable price. Again, hardly speaks English but, not much of a problem (foreigners should always adjust not the locals) 😊

It was a beautiful place and neighborhood to stay in. Really calm and quiet, but just 5 min. away from bigger streets and restaurants. The hostess herself is very helpful and accommodating, she helped us with various problems and was extremely hospitable. She can speak Georgian and is really fluent in Russian. She speaks also English and German. Our room was very clean and minimalistic, we had everything we needed. The kitchen and the breakfast room in the cellar are also very cosy. The house itself is very modern and just beautiful. I found the place where I would like to stay next time in Kutaisi 💝

This brand new hotel is absolutely perfect. Strategical position, in walking distance both between the bus station, the way to the airport and the city center. Everything is spotlessly clean, new and Nino (twice an Olympic champion in shooting!), her daughter and her son are incredibly hospitable, we felt taken care of every single minute. Even the breakfast was amazing, the interiors are super nice and the terrace has a great view over the city. They even did my laundry, making me save a huge amount of time - way too much kindness. This is honestly priceless. I feel lucky I ran into their hotel. 100% recommend and wish all the best to Nino's amazing family!

A small family hotel. My room had AC, great bathroom facilities, and everything was extremely clean and tidy. The host is superb. Picked me up from the airport, Made me fantastic vegan breakfast and keeps pampering with coffee and delicious homemade wine. Really gives you a welcoming feeling (wish it was like it everywhere in Georgia...) The property also has a roof for guest to enjoy and the family has a Labrador! (Which you can go meet - but he's not in the hotel - if you're worried) Very recommended overall.

Room had 3 single beds and not a double. Wasn't the best mattress for my back, but it was not too bad either. Host understands English but doesn't speak fluently. HOWEVER, they do everything to compensate (and their children does speak good English) so at the end it wasn't an issue.

Clean and bright room with everything you need for a short stay. Hostess Nino is the kind and lovely person, who made our stay exceptionally comfortable and smooth. There is a cozy lounge room in a basement with fireplace, traditional board games, tea, and coffee. It's located in 20-30 min walk to the city center. Taxi will cost you less than a dollar.

The hotel located in private house district and there are a lot of watchdogs. But barking didn't bother us that much. Overall it's a peaceful, calm and quiet place.

This is my fourth time visiting Ms. NINO's hotel since I first came to Georgia in 2023. This time we were greeted by her son, who was absolutely attentive and everything went smoothly. A place that can be chosen repeatedly, I think everything here needs no further explanation

Me and my friend stayed in a few places in Kutaisi and no place was as good as Chogo <3. The host -Nino was very helpful and kind. The rooms were clean, pretty and had everything that's needed for a few days stay. We had access to electric kettle and basic kitchen in the basement. We also have to highlight how beautiful the building was and a terrace on the roof that gave us a breathtaking sunsets and a broad view over the city, with mountains in the background. This wasn't a problem at all, but just as a hint for owners: maybe it would be good if guests got a copy of the key to the entrance doors, or that there is a solution that opens the doors when you enter a code? Of course it works great to ring the doorbell, but in case we came back at night we wouldn't like to bother owners and wake them up to get inside the building :).

We arrived late but the owner of the hotel Nino welcomed us with tea and homemade jam. She lit the fire and offered us a glass of home wine! It was the most welcoming greeting ever!!! In the morning we had a lovely conversation with Georgie who made us fantastic coffee! The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful making you feel at home 🙂 The beds were comfortable, mattresses, pillows and cotton linen were really great 👍 We traveled with 3 cats and it was ok to stay at the hotel for extra pay. I wish I had booked more nights at Nino's hotel and tried her a la carte Georgian breakfast!
