the location was close to my work place which was about 30 minutes away. it’s a very nice hotel with friendly staff, I could speak German but they were very willing to switch to English. Great location, 3 mins near Edeka

there is two hotels with the same name - kampenwand, one is in Bernau and the other is Aschau which was rather confusing and they are the same colour, look quite similar too!

Very friendly staff, large room with balcony, kitchenette and refrigerator. Clean room with good size bathroom. Very good breakfast. Excellent restaurant on-site with great local cuisine.

The room was very comfortable. Supper was excellent: wild garlic soup followed by Wiener schnitzel with asparagus. The staff were very friendly.

Nice comfortable bed in a quiet guest house with a great beer garden and reasonable priced food. The included breakfast buffet was comprehensive and well stocked and the secure bicycle garage was well appreciated.

No complaints.

Especially in a place close to a border, and in a turistic area, in 2023 it's really odd not to have an English version of the menu served in the restaurant...

We have stayed there several times and the standards is always good

The ramp on our floor down to the elevator level was a bit steep to walk down

The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful the food is excellent and the prices are very good value finally the area is nature pure I would say that's where God would take his holidays

Nice size room. Comfy bed and lovely and warm. Food in restaurant also very good

Last time we had a kitchenette and could make a hot drink. Didn't get that this time which was a shame.
