Updated, modern rooms with nice beds and amenities.
The check in instructions were very vague. We recieved the code to the main tower and thought that's where our room was, but it was in a different building all together. Once we found our room, we had no idea how to open the door. A call to the property was necessary to electronically open the door where our key was waiting inside. Saw other guests struggling with the check-in procedure and lack of information as well. Ended up wasting a lot of time just to check-in.

Our apartment was squeaky clean, extremely well equipped and felt brand new! Beds were brilliant, Nespresso coffee machine with the necessary tablets, nice bathroom; Possibility of honesty bar in the water tower, …
If I’m being picky, we had to look twice to find our apartment; maybe better signing to indicate or more specific information in the confirmation of the reservation. We finally called the number on the confirmation and they were able to help.

Amazing location, quiet area, comfy and homely. Close enough to walk to local spots, but far enough away to avoid people and enjoy your own company.
TVs had issues with Internet connection, so couldn't make use in the evenings.

Very tidy, clean place! Well equipped kitchen and comfy beds! We stayed for a night and had a very nice time!
All was fine, please be aware that there are two apartments with the same number but different name. Top and bottom are 15A. We had some excitement while checking in on our own. Same was true for our neighbors staying beloww is trying to enter our kitchen late in the evening :)

The Watertower is a stunning building and they clearly made a lot of effort to make your stay high end with design features everywhere. The rooms were large, clean and just beautiful. There was a beautiful shower. Great elevator. The hotel is right next to the Karl May Festival grounds. There was handicap parking in front of the door.
The stay was perfect. I have no comments against it.
