Our room faced the back of the hotel so it was very quiet even with an open window. There’s a cattle in the room. Both the room and the bathroom felt new and fresh, the beds were comfy, we slept great. There’s a Lidl nearby and if you don’t want to pay for hotel parking (15€) you can park for free across the street, by Bauhaus. The district might seem a bit shady, but it went well for us to leave the car there for a night.

The only mildly negative thing I can think of about our room is that there were no real doors to the bathroom, the toilet was divided from the rest of the bathroom with a sliding glass wall, which provided no soundproofing. The automatic check-in didn’t work at the moment, which we’ve been informed about and it was no problem to check-in at the neighboring hotel.

This is a pet friendly accommodation. The room was clean and spacious. There is a self check-in option directly at the hotel available. If there are issues, the hotel near by can support. The parking is also 2 minutes away. The position of the hotel is outside the old city center, there is a 30 minutes walk to the city center. Supermarkets are close by, there is no breakfast.

No coffee available. The room 107 is located at the ground floor. In case you want to let in some fresh air and open the windows, you need to be careful at the people passing by outside.

The room was small, but perfect for one night stay. The bathroom was modern and the shower was excellent. They provided a dog bed and food bowls for our dog. There was also tea / coffee (kettle) facilities in the room.

It is a reception free hotel, which is fine but be aware that you need to walk up the road to a different hotel if you need to talk to a human when checking in. The other hotel is nice and has a roof top bar - so not bad place to visit!

Very clean and comfortable...not far to walk into Altstadt. Comfortable bed. Very quiet.( our room was at the back)

The location is very unattractive ...... Why is there no door to the bathroom? This is very odd and was a surprise! Most people like privacy in the bathroom, even if we're a couple! The impersonal check-in was odd. Just took getting used to.

The room /beds and bathroom were all lovely and just what we needed for our stop over for our trip back from Norway to the UK. The location was great and so many restaurants and a supermarket close to the hotel.

The self check -in machine didn't work. So I had to walk to the mail hotel to get the door key. Not so much of an issue but a shame.

We were happy with the accommodation, everything was very clean, the shower was wonderful, the bathroom was a good size and so was the bedroom. The sheets was really comfortable. We previously requested extra pillows and to divide the bed into two singles and they did it right, which made us happy. They are very helpful and friendly.

We heard some noises in the hallways, which was a little annoying, but it didn't last long. The only thing missing was a fridge in the bedroom to make it perfect. There was a bit of a lack of communication between the hotel and us, as the room number was not given in advance, so I had to go unnecessarily to the reception at the hotel next door. Everything else was very good. :)

Great hotel! The young woman at the reception who was working on April 26 around 11:30 AM was incredibly helpful with early check-in, as we moved from another hotel— we really appreciate her assistance. The rooms were clean, with fresh towels and bed linen. It was also nice to have a kettle with tea and coffee in the room.

we missed having a fridge

This was an overnight stay on a longer journey going from one point to another. The hotel was easy to find, and I liked that there was a parking house next to the hotel, which I did have to pay extra for, but it was worth it to know my car was safe and close by. The check-in was simple (I did it online before hand) and it was easy to see where I needed to go, as the actual Viva hotel was just a building with rooms and a conference centre at the top, while reception and restaurant was next door at another hotel. I really liked that there was a sheltered outside area in front of Viva hotel, where I could sit and chat to my family on the phone in peace, without being seen from the street. The hotel was very clean and fresh.

Everything was ok I must say, so the only small thing I might want to be better would be the friendliness of the hotel staff in the main hotel. It wasn't that they were not polite, but they seemed a little dismissive, maybe because I was travelling on my own.

Nice, clean, comfi room! The room had all we needed. Windows were openable, there was a mobil ventillator available (we haven't used it). We appreciated the sofa for quiet moments. We had a room facing not the busy street but a parking lot kind of thing, therefore it was not too loud. Easily accessible from the city center and/or train station.

The automatic check in process had great potential, when we were there it was a struggle though due to technical issues. The staff in the nextdoor hotel helped us though immediately, they were very kind! The bathroom was super stylish and pretty, having no door though was not the most appealing - this might be a good one for couples or really close (!) friends. We found the shower's door a bit tricky, because when opening the door after having a shower all water is being pushed to the toilet which was not too easy to wipe/clean. We wish there was breakfast included in the price! :)

Room was clean and comfortable. It is a little far from centre(but well connected with buses) but pretty quiet and it didn't felt unsafe at all. Overall we had a great experience, we only used it for sleeping while we visited Lubeck's historical centre (in 15 min you are in the main gate by bus).

Not really minuses for me but info for other guests. The location is not in the centre (but you have at least 2 buses that leads you to both the bhf and the centre). The hotel doesn't have reception but the next-to main hotel has and the staff were really nice. Some rooms lead to a busy road so I recommend to close the windows if it is not too hot.
