2nd visit as we found this hotel ideal for an overnight stay on our annual drive from UK to Norway. Staff friendly, quiet location, comfortable rooms and very good breakfast.

Pillows were large but very soft and gave little support. It was too late to ask for another pillow, it would have been nice to have a spare pillow in the room as some hotels have.

Great location, very quiet and easy to get on the road to catch the ferry to Denmark in the morning. Breakfast superb, one of the best we have had in Germany. Very comfortable bed. Restaurant nice but closed on Sunday. We were recommended an Italian restaurant but chose Samos a Greek restaurant in the town square which was very nice.

The shower was small and felt a bit cramped. The staff were polite but not overly friendly and appeared to avoid conversation.

This was our second stay and it is perfect on our way further north. As dog owners we have the forest walks on our door step. Weather permitting eating outdoors is lovely and staff is very friendly.

Our only wish is that the light switches were marked. It took some time to identify it was a main switch for the bedroom at the entrance. Difficult in the middle of the night when it is dark and we could not turn on the lights.

The hotel is located near beautiful forest.It's absolutely peaceful and quiet. Our dog loved the early morning walked there. The room we stayed in was renovated and the beds were super comfy. The staff is very helpful.

The stay included 19€ breakfast but I missed lactosefree or vegan milk or cheese options.

Arrived after hours, easy to find, plenty parking, safe feeling, was on my motorcycle, not a problem. Lock box by front door, everything was easy to locate and access my room. Quiet night. Slept great. I'll be back here. Gas stations nearby. Friendly hotel staff.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, breakfast was great with a good selection of fresh produce. The dining area and bar were very well presented, with a lovely feel/atmosphere.

The room was a little dated, particularly the bathroom. It looked tired and in need of renovation. Shower functioned well and it did the job, it just didn't match the high quality of the rest of the hotel.

Excellent Hotel at a great location. Great for furry friends. Very good restaurant, good parking.

Only thing I was not too happy with, was the beds. Lots of squeaky noises every tie you move. Bed it self was OK,

Great breakfast ! Nice family business ! Just a short walk thru the woods and a nice park to get to the town square with nice restaurants ( since we hit the day the hotel's restaurant took its well deserved day off).

Breakfast was good. We are Swedes and are used to good hotel breakfasts. Don’t speak German, there was a waitress from the Ukraine who was really great at going through the menu with us . Her recommendation was great!

Everything was great

Handy location, basic but clean room, spa on site, good food, parking at hotel. Hotel smells incredible! Friendly staff, seems to be family run. A lovely stay and would use again
