Best stay of my entire Europe trip. Everything was so clean and well maintained. Beautiful location. 10/10 for the entire stay. Special mention to the owners for their hospitality. Really felt welcome.

I really wish I didn’t have to mention this, but while the staff were extremely warm and friendly, in the restaurant I was a bit neglected as my waiter would stay fixated on all the German speaking locals. Took her 20 minutes to come with my bill.

The Schüle family was incredibly warm and welcoming during my stay. Despite a train delay causing me to arrive later than expected, they were in close contact and came to pick me up, ensuring a smooth arrival. The room for a single person was of a decent size and the entire accommodation was impeccably clean. The breakfast in the morning was an absolute delight. It was served in a cozy, inviting dining hall with a wide variety of delicious food and drink options. The surrounding area was wonderfully tranquil, offering an open view atop a small hill. Overall, I had a fantastic experience staying with the Schüle family. Their kindness, the quality of the accommodation, and the location all combined to make this an excellent choice.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The owners have found a way to run a professional guest house and still make it a welcoming “human” place to stay. My room was larger than expected – for a single room, it was massive. The shower was excellent. The room is quiet, and the Wifi is strong. The staff (it is a family-run guest house) are welcoming and suffered my terrible German with a smile. The food—oh, the food. The Chef (the husband) loves his work. Try the schnitzel; I don’t think it will taste better.

Location great , landscape in the immediate vicinity as well as proximity to other Black Forest locations is good .

Nothing much to complain just that occasionally the noice of passing vehicles from the road nearby can be a bit disturbing .

A fabulous hotel with luxury ultra modern rooms. The breakfast was extensive and varied., scrambled eggs were the best I've eaten. We had a wonderful evening meal in their restaurant where the owner was very helpful in translating the menu. I'm already planning my next stay there.

Absolutely nothing to dislike, the room, hotel and staff were amazing with Gengenbach just a few minutes away made it a perfect stop

Very quiet, the bed was comfy, the breakfast tasty, the area of course cute as usually in the Black Forest.
