The breakfast was amazing. Such a variety of delicious food and so beautifully presented. The location was great - a short walk to old town, Christmas market. Also walking distance from the train station. The hotel is charming and with much attention to detail. The room was very comfortable and spacious.

The motion detected light in the entry way of the room was annoying. It would turn on if I got up to go to the bathroom at night, waking my husband. That is my only negative comment. Also be aware that there is no elevator. It wasn't a problem for us and expected for an historic building but something others should be aware of.

This hotel is situated in the heart of the town, though a parking garage is nearby. It has an excellent restaurant, including for a breakfast with lots of fresh stuff, and a pleasant, shady terrace. The staff and manager are exceeding friendly and welcoming. The rooms and beds are comfortable and are cleaned daily.

We missed a little fridge and a safe in the room. There was no written information, e.g. the kind of binder often found in hotels, not even the customary information on what to do in emergencies usually found in hotels on the inside of the room doors. Not the hotel's fault, but if you can, avoid coming during the Sandkerwa festival in late August. You will have loud hard rock under your bedroom window until late at night.

Almost everything: location, in the very hearth of the old town, cleanness, comfortable beds, bathroom, very good breakfast, restaurant, close by parking, staff friendly, speaking English too.

Minor dislikes: the single room was not provided with a proper pillow, our room at second floor, but not such a discomfort, except when you have heavy suitcases. Bathroom ok for most people, too small for big people (no offense!). The noise from different works and deliveries nearby, until midnight and early morning! It was hot outside, had to keep a window opened.

Location of the Brudermuhle was wonderful. Facilities were old, but clean and functional. The shower in our room would overflow everytime, there was nothing keeping the water from hitting the floor....Everything was good...the restaurant was wonderful. I wish we had a coffee machine, or wasserkocher for early risers....would be nice to have a cup of coffee early before breakfast.

Almost everything! The location couldn’t be better, in the middle of everything. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent, not lots of variety but everything very tasty. Just recommend it!

The room heater didn’t work well so the room was cold, not so much, but we slept with warm clothes and it worked great. Staff was helpful and nice, just didn’t understand why when we arrived from walking and stopped at the terrace for a glass of the delicious Glühwein, at 8 pm, the lady said that we could drink but she wouldn’t serve us outside anymore, we needed to take drinks inside, but few minutes later, a couple also stopped by and asked for a beer and the same lady brought it outside for them.

Close to most of the important sites. Our charming room overlooks the famous old town hall and the canal below. A short walk to tourist information center. More of the inn was across the cobblestone street and has a great restaurant where you can also have cake and coffee. The BEST place!

Because we couldn’t figure out the bus situation we walked with our backpacks to the Inn. It was a long walk (20 minutes at a good pace).

Great location. Very centre. Side view on old Rathaus. Nearby underground public parking 18EUR/day, but I paid 14EUR as I did not stay 24h). We dropped lugage at the hotel first. Good wifi and TV. Breakfast included.

No airco ... on a very hot august day. Noisy surrounding even if the noise of the flowing and cascading water helped a bit. The hotel restaurant closed at 21h30 so no dessert or ice cream anymore - no big deal ... Hair drier switched off after a few minutes - overheated - ... no big deal. We were annoyed by the many many bees in the morning so it was a challenge to have breakfast. Very strange: we had lots of spiders on the ceiling ...

Best location in Bamberg. Excellent breskfast. We got a solid big room and toilette. Very good price especially in Christmass markt time. Yes if you have heavy luggage be ready to take it one floor over narrow stairs and the rooms could have newer furniture (but the furniture is no way critically old) , but that is minor compared to positives. I booked here because Nuernberg was too expensive in Christmass-time, but it ended uncomparably better than anything I could imagine in Nuerberg. After 22h it was also quiet.

Great breakfast. Fresh items in abundance and always refilled when getting low. Staff was super friendly and always made sure we had everything we needed. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the old town.

Beds are extremely soft. Granted, this is a personal preference and everyone will rate them differently. Shower configuration in our room was not ideal. Hard to keep water off the floor due to extremely small barrier between shower and the rest of the room

This is a very nice location right near the old Rathaus. It's conveniently near all the central tourist district. The property and dining options met expectations.

The on duty clerk at the time of our departure couldn't find record of our prepayment and was expecting my to pay again. We were delayed about 30 minutes while awaiting confirmation of our prepayment.
