The location. Very central as the name suggests. Right in the old town and walkable distance from main attractions. Stores, restaurants, pharmacy and bus station are very close by. The room amenities. Our room had a nice small kitchen, which was very nice and helpful. The outdoor breakfast area was also a top highlight for me. Our balcony was also very cool. The staff were also very helpful. We had late arrival and were the last to arrive for that day. A man at the reception who was so kind to stay beyond closing time was so kind and helpful. He gave us clear direction to a parking location and recommendation of a nice place to eat late, just outside the busy tourist area, and children with a nearby play area.

The floor of our room was quite squeaky and sometimes woke the children when we went to the toilet at night. Breakfast was also quite basic, though not a deal breaker for most travelers. But I think more options would surely be nice, especially for travelers who fancy their breakfast.

Traditional-style hotel in the centre of Bamberg (only a 15-minute walk from the station). We were served by Tim who was extremely pleasant and enjoyed chatting with us. The room was well-equipped, the bathroom was modern, and the beds were so comfy (both my friend and I slept like babies). Very affordable for a hotel in the town centre too.

The hotel was in a great location and was very clean. The staff was very friendly too. Overall, the location, service, and comfort was excellent and we'd recommend staying here when in Bamberg.

We dropped our bags off before we could check-in, and were told to put them in an unlocked room. When we came back, there was no staff in the hotel after 6:30pm. We were still back to check in, but it was odd our bags were unattended and the hotel and room they were in was unlocked.

It was in the city center and very close to the Christmas Market. The desk staff was very friendly and willing to assist.

You do need to make arrangements if you are arriving after 6:00 pm. Not a problem but if you aren’t used to a process like their late check in it could cause a problem. The original text I received was not in English but the email was, so no problem.

when asked a question by email before the stay the hotel responded immediately. The hotel were happy to look after our bags until check in time as we arrived early. The hotel is in a good location if arriving by train - half way between the station and the heart of the old town. it's also convenient for heading back towards the station for the garden area. it's alcso very close to the bus station.

We have stayed here years ago and were pleased to see that the quality of this hotel is still maintained. The staff is more than helpful with getting you checked in and the breakfast is great. You can walk to almost everything, but if needed the local buses come a half block away and taxi stands are in front of the hotel.

Bathroom is big and well designed

Advertised as having parking but it is actually a nearby public carpark with low clearance that doesn't fit a 9-seater van. Had to find another carpark quite a distance away. Cost €18 overnight.

The room with its high ceilings was nice, and ample, but not great size.everything clean and modern, in an old building. easy walking distance to everything.

The shower was too technical with water from two places that were not coordinated. Small hotel with no staff after 6PM. Probably not practical if you don't like stairs as there are stairs to get in, but a lift inside.

Super clean and cosy room. The heati g was on so the room was lovely, cosy and warm when we entered. Location is fanatatic! Close to city center/christmas market.

Mattress was quite soft, it's a matter of prefernece, we prefer harder one

Location was great and directions were spot on. 5-10 walk to about everything one might need.

A bit noisy when people came in at 0130, but not the hotel’s fault. Also, lights on floor 1 were very dim when we checked in, hopefully get brighter as day goes on.
