Great location a very short walk from the old town and with more local experience, less tourist dining options very close by. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast way exceeded our expectations, provided such variety and was created with such care and such great value. One of the best I have had anywhere - fabulous!

We were in the back building on the second floor ie 2 levels to climb with suitcases which we managed ok but, need to know about this if not possible for you. Having said that, a staff member appeared and carried my 80year old mum’s suitcase for her on the way in and out. There is a lift in the main building.

It was located a short walk from the main centre, but far enough away to be peaceful. The staff were helpful. The bed was comfortable and our room overlooked the courtyard at the rear so was peaceful for sleeping.

Unfortunately the restaurant was not open on the nights we stayed. No fridge or kettle were provided although the staff kept our drinks cold for us and provided hot water when we asked for it to make a cup of tea.

Breakfast was outstanding! Totally worth the 12euro. Breakfast staff was also very nice and welcoming. Check in was easy. Everyone we encountered was very courteous. This location is a bit of a walk to center all want to visit. But that said, it’s a nice walk with shops and lots to see along the way. If you are in Bamberg because of the beer, you will find a great place across the street to get some local beer to take home. We found that to be a real plus.

Parking can be a little tricky. The parking garage is on the same side of the hotel but BEFORE the hotel. We pulled up to hotel to check in but then had to navigate around to park the car in the garage. I recommend that guests park their car first, then check in. It would save some time and a minor hassle.

Breakfast had everything! Great location for seeing the town and easy walk to train station!

No complaints about the hotel. However staying in Bamberg took 2.5/3 hours each way, 4 trains, running in one station, to get to/from Rothenburg ob de Tauber so not ideal location for visiting RodT by trains.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Outstanding breakfast in quiet courtyard. Excellent restaurant, possible to eat outside. Comfortable bed.

The room we had was a street view first floor so the street noise was very bad. There was no air conditioning so very hot room with windows closed against street noise.

The hotel and the room is simple but quite ok for a short stay. It is close to the city center and has a privet parking place. We were satisfied with the stay. But do not expect anything super.

The room and the bathroom were quite small. The reception area is usually croudy. While overall our expectations were met.

Spacious room, clean bathroom. Really nice breakfast with lot of varieties, and specialties. The Hotel is located a few minutes walk from the city center.

The street was a bit noisy, there is no AC in the rooms, therefore we kept the window open, but it didn't bother that much. The hotel provides earplugs, which was a nice touch.

Breakfast was fabulous! Something for everyone and so many choices.Parking was very secure underground. Beautiful outdoor garden terrace in summer. Great beds. Staff were amazing. Extremely easy to walk to the brewery section and Old town

The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is an easy walk from the train station and also to the old town of Bamberg. There was a good quality floor fan in the room--much appreciated.

The bathroom in our room was small--everything in excellent working condition, but very little space. Missed having a kettle and mini-fridge, but we knew in advance that the hotel did not provide them.
