I love the small town feel with this beautiful 1800s building. The outside looks very antique, and the insides are not too modern but not old looking. Right in the middle. The room I had was beautiful. Had perfect sunlight from 2 large windows. A large bed. A TV with English audio. Free coffee and water. The bed was very comfortable and had more than enough blankets and pillows. Important to note that the room came with a fan which i don't *need* but really improves my sleep quality. One of the best hotel locations I've had. Staff was super friendly. It was very easy to get in and out of the building. 20 stars if I could.
The shower was missing a door so I tried not to let water escape. But that's all that was wrong.

The property is located in the center of the old town, right next to the legendary Schlenkerl pub. There is also an Irish pub in the same building. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The room is quite small, even for two people. The bed practically take up the entire room, but it was not a problem, because we only slept there anyway. Bed was comfortable. Basic kitchen equipment available. The staff was nice and polite.
Due to the proximity of pubs and restaurants, you have to bear in mind the quite significant noise from the street and the Irish pub itself, which is located on the ground floor. The building is old, so the walls do not perfectly muffle noise from the corridor. Of course, this is not the fault of the object itself, so it does not affect our final assessment. Due to the small size of the room it quickly becomes stuffy, so an open/tilted window is a must. Of course, this also affects the noise. You have to bear in mind that someone who plans to get a good nights sleep may have problems with this.

The check in process was very smooth and easy and the little room was unique and quirky. I especially enjoyed the antique feel and the glassware around the hotel. The complementary tea/coffee and water were also very welcome. I loved being in the historic centre so I could wander around easily.
I liked the hotel and the staff. It was a little cold in the room but it is winter so difficult to heat an old building.

The hotel is conveniently located for tourists – all the main attractions, cafes, and shops are within walking distance. The central bus station is about a 10–15-minute walk away.
The lighting system was rather strange – we couldn't manage to turn on the light in the room in the evening. The bathroom fixtures were outdated. One of the mattresses was very uncomfortable

Very nice room in a pretty building right in the old centre. There's no lift, but that was not a problem for us. The self checking was very easy. You can park in front of the building while unloading (there are even temporary parking permits in the entrance hall) and then repark at a nearby parking garage. The room is quite spacious, including a dining area, seating area and a space for kettle, coffee machine, mini fridge and some breakfast snacks. The bed is comfortable.
As others noted, the building is very close to a really lively street in the centre so it gets quite noisy in the night (at least at weekend). However, with the windows closed (it was not very warm when we were there) it was actually quite ok, much better than I expected based on the reviews :)

The location was amazing and although it was in the heart of the pub area, the soundproofing was excellent...with the windows closed it was very quiet. The room was nice and bright and spacious enough. Just as advertised 😊
The fridge wasn't working. I could have asked at reception, but we were only there for 2 nighr, so I didn't.

Had a 2 bedroom apartment on the higher floor - the amount of space was fabulous and the location of the property is perfectly central in old Bamberg. The colour changing lights and fixtures were an extra cool feature. Rooms also come with fans which is great for the hot summer days!
I greatly underestimated how big of a party town this was - the street was filled with 20 and 30-somethings bar hopping. (Which is awesome, just not on a family trip!) Therefore, there is lots of noise if you have a room facing the street. (If you’re traveling with young kids, we very quickly found out Bamberg is NOT it) lol I suggest staying in a smaller, quieter town nearby.

The apartment was really amazing! Great location, just in the middle of the city, the most famous historical seesights are just 5 min. walk away. The apartment was absolutely clean, I felt like I am at home. Kitchen facilities were enough to cook at the apartment and the coffee machine is a plus.
The reception is not 24 hours open. The streets could be very loud at nights, some of the famous breweries are nearby the hotel. The main gate of the hotel is closed at nights, if you forgot your key it's difficult to get in again :) so be careful.

A wonderful location. They did their best to make the rooms and stairways stylish. We were given a nice sized room. I would definitely stay there again.
There was only one coffee pad for the coffee maker. After contacting the manager this was sorted out and more pads were delivered to the room.

The apartment was nice. The layout of the rooms were a bit strange but the place was comfortable and generally well appointed.
The shower needed caulking. If you were in the main area (included one of the bedrooms) you had to go through the other bedroom and kitchen to get to the bathroom. Soap for the shower would have been nice (we bring our own just in case so it wasn't a problem.
