The rooms are clean and comfortable. It is a great location for strolling the Kurfürstendam. The windows keep out 99% of the noise from the neighboring restaurant. I was very pleased about that.
We stayed here in early April and had a front facing room. For this visit I asked for a room facing the back when I reserved in April and again when checking in. The clerk, very sweet and friendly, but with limited German and new to the job was unable to understand what I was asking for and was unfortunately not able to accomodate me. The curtains in room 309 have been hung incorrectly so that the velcro to keep the curtains together (to keep out the light) are facing the walls and not in the center. The light is the reasons why I requested a room to the back. Perhaps next time I can get a room as requested.

Enjoyable stay not far from S line. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.
Noise. Rooms were not soundproofed as advertised. Due to a connecting door we could hear everything said in the neighbouring room. Same with the second room our family booked. There was also noisy building works taking place outside and noisy a/c. Also rooms were badly allocated...we booked 2 x double and ended up with one small one (single with 2 beds jammed in) and one normal sized double for the same price each. Staff moved our family together to 2 connecting double rooms so we did not mind about the noise then.

The room was very spacious. The hotel is close to the S-Bahn station Savignyplatz (around 8-9 mins on foot) and the U-Bahn at the Kurfürstendamm. The Ku'damm street, to which the hotel is very close by is a beautiful shopping street with good cafes and restaurants. The breakfast at the hotel was very rich. We observed during our stay that this is a hotel that primarily the Germans themselves prefer. That means it is a good choice of hotel for anyone, as the locals stay here. Overall we would stay here again if we were to revisit Berlin.
The third bed in the triple room was a little bit uncomfortable.

I definitely recommend this hotel! - This Berlin area seems to be safe and kind of rich - The staff is friendly - Lot of choice for breakfast - Having an elevator - The location is amazing, so many different shops around (for example: next to the hotel there is Lidl and opposite there's Edeka) - I booked a room with a double bed plus a coach to sleep on and the room was spacious and had a terrace - It was clean - There was no problem with getting more tissues, toilet paper or getting clean towels - A big plus was the possibility to adjust the temperature in them room - Easy access to public transport For sure when planning to visit Berlin again I'll try to book this hotel too.
- The interior design in a room was not that modern but its only about personal preferences

Very large rooms with multiple beds, we had a twin with a sugar bed and a separate camp bed. Rooms are massive with a balcony. It's not a really upgraded place but it was clean and comfortable. Location is excellent and it was actually easy to find street parking right outside at night
A/C wasn't working but we didn't really need it. We opened the windows and had a good through draft

Location was amazing! Breakfast was good, too - various options to choose from. There are 2 grocery stores next door and the room had a mini fridge, which we weren’t expecting at all, it was a nice surprise. The curtains were thick enough to block out all outside light, perfect for napping after a long walk on Kurfurstendamm!
Not a big fan of the combined bath-shower with the glass wall - water spilled out and the floor was wet after every shower. It seemed as though the heating wasn’t working, so it was a bit cold at night, but we didn’t bother reporting it or anything, it was manageable. The biggest downside was the bathroom ventilator, which was on constantly, even with the light turned off. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs. The 2nd night the ventilation was off, but there was a weird buzzing coming from the next room.

The location is very good, public transport stations are very close to the hotel and it is situated in a very nice district of the city. We have visited other districts during our stay and from our experience, it was the best one in the whole Berlin. Breakfast had a lot of different options and was tasty, so was the coffee. Beds were surprisingly comfortable as well.
Noises in the early mornings were a bit distracting as it is summer and we like to sleep with windows open, however, there was a lot of noises starting early morning such as construction, lorries picking trash up, etc. However, Berlin is a big city so I guess that's to be expected.

Very friendly staff, amazing breakfast, gigantic room (we had a panorama room with balcony), air conditioning, clean room, and bathroom, great location, comfortable beds. We really enjoyed staying here!
The bedding was quite noisy, and so was the sofa-bed when the kids turned at night, but not everyone would be bothered by this. I am a very light sleeper, though. We didn't have shower gel, only shampoo in the shower. We didn't have a kettle but a coffee maker, but a kettle was provided upon asking. My mum stayed in a twin room and said the bathroom was very cold and air conditioning could not be turned off in there.

Great location in West Berlin near the main shopping street in the city (Kurfurstendamm). Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby (as well as a Lidl supermarket). Easy to catch a bus or walk to the U-Bahn station. Hotel was surprisingly affordable, and we would stay there again when visiting Berlin. Since we traveled in the off-season, we managed to get a slightly larger room. There's a buffet breakfast for about $15 every day on the 2nd floor - really excellent assortment of breads/pastries as well as hot foods (eggs/sausages, but no waffles or pancakes). Officially, I think this hotel is part of the Mercure brand, but this hotel seemed slightly quirkier (there's a dog most days in the lobby), and it almost seemed like a condo/apartment building that had been converted into a hotel.
We didn't really get to use any of the facilities at the hotel, other than the buffet breakfast. There might be a workout/fitness room, but we never saw one. Also, the room furnishings felt a bit dated. Everything very clean, though, and the cleaning team was very courteous and efficient. We traveled during off-season, so the hotel seemed kinda quiet, but that might change during peak season.

For 3 grown men, travelling on a budget, this hotel ticked all the boxes. A good selection of breakfast products, a short walk into Nurnberg Old Town, 10 minute walk from train station. Hotel cleanliness is good, staff very polite.
A good hotel for travelling if you want just that. Only the area it's in lets the hotel down. A good amount of building improvements being made so don't expect to sleep in....
