The staff were 10/10 when it came to general advice, like where to eat and what bars to visit. Their suggestions were absolutely pivotal and I can't express how thankful we were. The bath is HUGE and added a lovely romantic touch. The hotel is lovely and modern with a beautifully unique design. Although it is located very centrally, it's just far enough off the main road that therefore it's completely silent all day and night. What you get for the price you are paying is unbelievable and I will most definitely be returning.

The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by interesting shops and restaurants. I found the staff to be very helpful, even with small things like lending me an umbrella for a quick run to get coffee. The facilities in the room generally were very good (a few small exceptions noted below), and I especially appreciated the great climate control and the fact that the minibar left room for one or two additional items of your own.

The room had a very strong, modern design which sometimes got in the way. The bed, for example, had a built-in counter (with a sink!) on one side. This was OK for a single person, but would have been a pain for two. Another serious issue was the huge gap between the curtain and the wall - meaning lots of light would come in RIGHT next to the only accessible side of the bed (i.e., where you would be sleeping).

We loved the location, near to railway station and bars and restaurants. The hotel was well appointed and not too big. Kettle and mugs in our room was a nice surprise and a well stocked fridge (incurs extra charge)

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like though as some have mentioned previously the shower in the bedroom really only lends itself to couples! Wasn’t a problem for us.

Hotel and breakfast was very good. Breakfast staff speaks English but not perfectly. Most of the guests we have seen were senior Germans. We have never disturbed by any noise etc from other rooms or corridor. Location was good, quiet but close to public transport stops. There are many cafes, restaurants and shops in walking distance. Rooms were clean and large.

These were not a problem for me actually, and due to rooms unique design, however: *The shower is facing the room and separated with a clear glass; so for me, it is not possible to share the room with someone else other than your partner 🙂 *Beds are reachable from one side only, other side is the sink so maybe not suitable for older people to roll on the bed.

I had a room on the 5th floor facing the court yard. It was a nice room without any traffic noise with separated rooms for toilet and shower. The shower/bathroom facilities were placed in the room so if you are two persons sharing the room you cannot shower/wash you in private. The hotel is placed in a very nice area with lots of restaurants, bars and cafes. Staff was very helpful and kind.

The air con was very noisy and therefore I had to turn it off during the nights. I found only one english spoken channel on the tv.

Wonderful staff. Small boutique hotel that really tries hard to satisfy their guests. Felt like in a family-run hotel who see guests like family. The bar man even came upstairs to take our order for room service in-person to accommodate my 4 years old. Staff at reception were amazing, even turned around complicated dry clean within shortest time possible. Overall I will rate exceptional. Will definitely return.

Size of rooms are small but totally functional and incredibly nice designed

The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Amazing team at the breakfast service - made-to-order omlette and pancakes were yummy. The location could not get any better. It is literally 3 mins from an S-bahn stop and then under 10 mins you are at the Hauptbahnhof. Walking around the hotel you will find many restaurants, cafes and shopping. Also within walking distance to some sight -seeing. Definitely value-for-money and was overall a very pleasurable stay.

The design of the bed edges is a bit weird. I tripped twice and it could be dangerous in the night if u have to get up for any reason.

Great location with good restaurants nearby. Close to s and u Bahn connections into town and to and from the airport. Room spacious and bed comfortable. Bed is on an unusual bedstead so watch out for your toes! Nice sweets in reception!

room - bed over designed; closet ok, shower too small breakfast - food ok, my friend hit his head hard on that weird wavy design that is all over the place lift - got stuck in the eelvator for almost an hour - super unpleasant; a small compensation would have been appropriate

great location in a cute neighborhood. not far from public transport which was needed to get to any major tourist destination and to the conference I attended

at checkout my colleague got a discount because he didn’t need to pay the city tax but I didn’t get the same one. it was very confusing and staff was not able to explain. said I would need to go to the tax office but it was 6:30am and we were heading to the airport. it put a damper on my otherwise nice stay
