Super location, great decor, very comfy bed. Super clean. Stunning balcony over Kurfürstendamm

At check in I was told check out is at 11am. Next day at 10:30 I had a knock on the door and a reception member telling me rudely that I missed the check out at 10:00 and I should leave immediately. I answered that I was sorry, and had been told otherwise, but instead of apologising for the hotels mistake, he kept being rude.

The location is great, as is the breakfast. Some of the rooms are air-conditioned and spacious with nice bathrooms, but other rooms lack AC, have tiny bathrooms and very little light. So if you get the former room option, the hotel is fabulous, but if you get the latter run option, it's less than fabuous...

See above. Also, the elevators are super weird. You have to climb up about 20 stairs to get to the elevator, and then when you take the elevator you still jab be to climb up/ down hall of a flight of stairs.

The hotel is located in a very bustling area of Berlin, right on a major street. The hotel itself is an antique building, exquisitely designed. There are four subway stations nearby, making transportation extremely convenient. You can reach almost anywhere via the subway. The hotel staff, especially the evening shift auntie, provided excellent service. They lent us a kettle, which helped us Chinese guests solve the problem of having hot water to drink. We are grateful for the hotel's service.

Excellent location, really convenient for public transport. Quiet location. Staff really helpful and accommodating. Breakfast had a good range of food. Kettle in room good for cups of tea with mini bar for the milk! Bright fresh room, though not massive, big enough.

Mattress was very soft! Not to my preference but still a good night sleep! Not a problem for us but lots of stairs - lift available but still need to get up first flight to reach it and doesn’t go to all floors.

To get to the hotel you have to carry your suitcases up the stairs to the reception, the attitude of the receptionist, an older woman, was not pleasant, it was very simple, I think she doesn't like her job, she gave me a room with a view of the garden, I booked with view of the city, when I asked what was happening with my reservation, a young girl and a man were very kind, they changed me to another better room and the man helped me with the suitcases because in some parts of the building there is no elevator.

The location is excellent. There's a bus station and U bahn few meters from the hotel. You will find lots of cafés, restaurants and luxury boutiques in this area. The hotel is family owned and they are very accommodating and helpful. The bed, blanket and pillows are very comfortable.

The bathroom is nice and clean but the bedside tables and mini bar are very dusty. Needs improvement on that part. I will still recommend this hotel because my friend and I had a pleasant stay.

WOW😁 we loved this place! We had a large room that felt like a room in a palace but was super comfy. Very high ceilings and decor like velvety red with a large chandelier. The bed was the most comfortable bed of all the beds we slept at hotels in Europe the past 2 years! We were sad to leave. We had a neat balcony that opened up onto a major street where the trees were lit up with Christmas lights. The temperature of the room was very nice and warm. We did not do the breakfast there so can't give a review on that. The location was good as well.

So here's the deal- This hotel is in the Green zone of Berlin so If you rent a car from another country like we did, you cannot go in the green zone. We found this out after the fact, but thankfully it turned out to be a good thing. We ended up at a parking garage just outside the green zone. The parking garage charged us €15 for 3 days. The parking garage near the hotel was more than €25 a day. Plus with the fact we didn't have a green zone pass we could have been fine a lot .The parking garage was next to a metro station but we just took an Uber to get to the car.

The hotel is located near the Kurfürstendamm neighborhood. There is a bus station nearby but the Zoologischer Garten main station is a 10 minute walk away. The hotel itself has a very unique style as well as the rooms. Getting to the room is a bit confusing at first but after staying there a couple of times it gets easier to navigate through the inner yard. The staff of the hotel is very nice and friendly and so was the check in and check out experience. The room was reasonably sized and clean, with a big bed, private bathroom, a mini bar with drinks and towels.

Nice location just off the beaten track. Staff very helpful and the building is nice. I love the area and convenience to public transport and some excellent cafes and restaurants, without being right on the very busy main road.

Only a small complaint - The room we had was very warm even without the heater on, and so we had to have the windows open at night - and then someone was emptying rubbish bins outside very early on Friday morning.

The staff are fabulous and couldn’t do enough for us. When we arrived , the man behind reception was friendly. He made sure our rooms were on the same floor and allowed us to check in early. Every member of staff was really helpful and friendly. The rooms are big, bathrooms are spotless and location is perfect. There was is so much choice at breakfast and is brilliant value for money. We’d stay again
