The location was excellent- just a few steps from the center of town and close to the boat dock of the Mosel River which is delightful. Cochem is a great location for visiting Burg Eltz which is our favorite castle of all Germany. We had an amazing view of the beautiful castle from our room. The breakfast was delightful with a variety of cheeses, fresh breads, fruit, cereals, eggs and expresso machines. The owner is also the chef and he is very personable and involved.

The ceiling in our room was quite low - we were on the top floor - so stay in a different room. There was no AC but there was a breeze.

The owner is a really good host and also a very friendly person. The location is perfect for a visit to Cochem as you are in crawling distance of the restaurants and wine shops. He also has a couple of parking spaces available in an underground parking garage at a really short walk from the hotel at a very reasonable price. The breakfast is really good as well and when the weather is nice, you can enjoy it a small garden/terrace in front of the hotel. Will definitely try to book here again when I visit the area!

I have really nothing to complain about. Staying here was just a really pleasant experience.

The hotel was great and located in a quaint area of town. Although parking was offsite and a small walk, it was through a part of town we would not have seen and really enjoyed. The host was accommodating and breakfast was stellar. Best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had. Room was comfortable and perfect for our family of 3.

Boutique-Hotel Lohspeicher is nothing short of delightful. The location is great (3m walk from public parking by the water), and the rooms/beds are comfortable. Check-in/-out was pretty seamless, and the breakfast was very extensive (yet a bit on the pricier end). We received some great tips to discover fun bars and restaurants as well!

A heads up about the breakfast pricing prior to confirming would have been useful. Other than this, it would be handy to have more of a "hotel lobby" available for check ins (we arrived at 7:30pm and the check in time was advertised to be until 8:30pm -- the owner was kind enough to call and let us know we needed to be in touch, yet when we arrived we were able to enter through other guests as the owner -- very understandably -- had to attend to other matters).

Tasty breakfast, lovely staff and nice location in the historic centre. A parking place is available for free for the guests.

Mattress is definitely too soft. The darkening curtains cover only partially the windows. Maybe it's recommended something straight on the window glasses Other recommendations would be to agree with parking facilities to get some illumination inside. Not really comfortable

The hotel was super convenient, right in the heart of the town square. We could easily walk to a ton of amazing restaurants and shops. We even made it to the Cochem Castle! The service was top-notch, and our breakfast was absolutely delicious!

A very nice place to stay. Nice rooms, good food and a very hospitable and friendly owner. We will come back to stay again.

That we only booked one night instead of more.

The property was right next to the centre. Room was very comfy with nice bed where we slept like a child :) The restroom was also very clean and comfy.

Because we visited during a hot summer weekend , we missed presence of a fan. Otherwise no complains.
