The breakfast was superb with a wide choice of hot and cold food. We had a beautiful view from our balcony over the Mosel river with the castle in the background. It is a lovely area to explore. Cochem itself is stunning and you can travel by boat, car etc. to other pretty towns and villages.
The only thing which could have been improved was that the hotel doesn't currently provide any tea or coffee making facilities in the room, and as the hotel no longer has a cafe you need to go out and get a drink elsewhere.

Great location on the edge of the old town, along the river front. Short walk across the road to the dock for river cruises. Many good restaurants and cafes nearby. Very nice, large bedroom and bathroom. We enjoyed having a comfortable sofa in the room, as well as a desk and chair. Plenty of opening windows for ventilation, though it is located near a busy thoroughfare. Excellent wifi. Very good breakfast buffet with lots of variety. The staff were especially friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early and store our bags for an hour before leaving, both very useful for helping us work around the train schedule.

Excellent location close to the T1, the bus transport center and about a 10-minute walk from the train station (a bus goes there too). Beautiful hotel, very helpful staff and the location is right on the Mosel. We were fortunate to get a lovely room on the river with an amazing view. Compact room but the setup didn’t make the space seem cramped, it was very efficiently laid out and the two windows allowed plenty of light and fresh air. The bridge to walk to the east side of Cochem is close by. The gelato shop is next door, a wine shop with a large selection and helpful staff is “downstairs”, shopping and restaurants within steps. The breakfast was excellent, the decor cheery, the space cozy and the dining area had plenty of tables. We loved sitting on the second floor terrace overlooking the river, the stunning view of the castle and watching all the activity down below as we sipped our Mosel wine. You must rent bikes (shop in Buttig — 712 bus) so you can cruise along either side of dedicated bike paths within direct access of the Germania. One of our best hotel experiences!

The hotel is in a great location next to the river, our rooms were comfortable with good quality bedding and towels. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide choice each morning. Communication was easy with the staff with regard to our arrival time and parking. The private terraces for use by guests only are very special and it's worth visiting the wine shop in the basement for a local tasting.
We would have liked a kettle in our room.

Fantastic location, esp. in the evening when the traffic slows down. Our greeter Bernd was so welcoming and friendly. He set the tone! He also helped us store our bikes. Our room with a balcony was worth the extra money. So fun to look out on the river and the crowds. Breakfast was incredible.
The bike parking was a little confusing, because the suggested parking was 3 euros a bike (I find paying for bike parking to be WRONG unless charging is involved) and was at a sister property that didn't open until 10 a.m., too late for us. The hotel came up with a solution, but I was surprised it was at all confusing. NOT a big deal in the scheme of things.

Very central location, close to all river cruise ships and the central marketplace, used for wine festivals. However this also generates some additional noise, during periods with activities in the square. Really nice and private terrace with comfortable furniture. Tip: buy your wine from the wine shop below and enjoy it on the terrace. Close to EV chargers
The breakfast was generally very nice, however I would appreciate a bit more attention to filling the various cereal jars.

The location is excellent - on the Mosel River and right in the heart of everything Cochem. The women (don't know her name) who checked us in was lovely and went out of her way to ensure we were looked after. The hotel is very quaint, with a balcony allowing us to appreciate the stunning view, and a comfortable, spacious bed making our stay wonderful. Breakfast was fresh and had a good choice too.
Not the fault of the staff but the reception closes at 5pm. Be aware if you are running late for check in.

Honestly, I liked everything about the hotel. Cleanliness, Breakfast, Location and especially the hotel team. The only two things that I disliked were in bed, it was too soft for me personally. Second, my room was on the 1st floor, towards the city side, and right below is a wine kiosk which made some of our nights tough, as I could hear people talking loudly until 2 am / 2:30 am.

Our corner balcony room with a view exceeded our expectations. The pictures don't do it justice. Breakfast was sunny & bright, clean and well stocked with enough choices. Our room was clean and had fantastic wonderful view of the city, river and castle. I kept going back and forth on which hotel to choose based on the side of the bridge and we were 100% happy with our choice of location and lodging. Easy walk from the train station along the river. We used the smooth walking trail to roll our bags. Front desk always happy to help guide us on what to do and how to get there.
Having to leave. Not having enough time to take advantage of the beautiful front porch to sit and enjoy a coffee or a drink.

I liked everything. The room was lovely, with a balcony, and view of the Reichsburg castle, and of some of the town. This hotel is located on the Main street, overlooking the Mosel river. It’s close to shops and restaurants. The breakfast was very good.
The only thing that I didn’t like was that I had to pay both rooms, for myself and my friend, because I booked the rooms, even though we had given two different names for booking. This something the hotel owners want from the travel agency, which we had not been informed about. I’ll be more careful of the small print.
