Wonderful hotel. Great location, tasty breakfast, very kind stuff, so clean. SPA area is not big- but very clean, nice, peaceful and with great view. Bed sheets was excellent quality. We were welcomed with champagne directly on reception and far welled with small bag with water and snacks. The view on the castle is amazing, hotel itself is not big, but very cosy and quite. I don’t understand why it’s not rated higher, it deserves definitely minimum 9.

Double bed contains from 2 separate beds- so for us as couple it wasn’t comfortable. But we knew it before, so there’s nothing to complain about.

Our stay was in the Triton building. I picked Triton for the swimming pool location. Lovely, comfortable room and beds. Lots of closet space. Nice, large bathroom. Very friendly, helpful staff. Underground parking available. You will need to walk to the Brixiade location for breakfast. Just a 2 minute walk. Fabulous breakfast !

The hotel is actually on the other side of the river from the main city of Cochem. About a 15 minute walk across the bridge from the hotel. But a beautiful view of the city and castle from the bridge.

The breakfast was excellent, and they also have a restaurant. We didn’t get the chance to try dinner there, but based on the quality of the breakfast, it should be good. There’s no elevator, but that’s understandable given that it’s an older building. It wasn’t a big issue for us. The bed was okay—neither very comfortable nor uncomfortable.

The parking was quite expensive at €15, it should have been free, and the weekend stay was also on the pricier side. Additionally, the parking lot didn’t have an EV charger, which was a bit inconvenient.

I was sceptic for the buffet dinner. But turned out that quality was very good. There was roasted venison, stuffed turkey, some fish and a variety of salads, desserts etc. All quite tasty and nicely presented. As for the room: I am not sure why the king size bed had to be two joined beds. So there was a 'gap' in the middle. Otherwise the room was excellent, clean with nice furniture. Bathroom was also clean, no smells, everything very good. We had a room with river view, which is spectacular: the castle, the city and at night everything was illuminated. The spa facilities were also very nice. There were not many people there, which made the whole experience quite 'personal'.

King bed consisted of two separate beds.

Well heated room. Clealiness of the room. Prompt service for problem with the room card access, overflowing buffet spread. Great place to have a peaceful holiday to unwind. Good pool and sauna.

The hotel is over 2 buildings (separated)so we had to go out of building for breakfast and checkout. But minor issue.

I booked a single room, it's an old hotel but it's clean and spacious! And the view was great once you stepped out from the hotel, directly across the river facing the castle! Breakfast was great! The staff gave me a pack of snacks and water after I checked out.

A little far from the train station, probably around 20 min walk.

- We had a room on the top floor, and the view was just amazing! Also the room was very spacious. I would recommend to book a room with a river view. - The spa area: it's clean and neat but also looks very new! It has two saunas, steam sauna and a swimming pool. It is located in the triton hotel in the neighborhood, but the entrance is free for Moselstern guests as well. - The room design is a bit outdated but it has it's own charm.

- Parking in the town is a drama

Everything was a super wonderful hotel, At checkout, they even gave us a goody bag for our travels! Breakfast was delicious

Everything was super. I just miss a little large bed in a room for one person, cause the room has space. Perfect view from the hotel.

Nice view of the river and castle. Large comfortable room.

There was some kind of water leak down the wall onto the floor.
