Hotel am Hafen was in a great location just across the bridge, with light traffic making it easily accessible. The view of the castle and river made sitting on the balcony a lovely experience. The room was clean and spacious, though the bathroom was a bit tight. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options. While we didn’t have dinner at the hotel, we noticed many people crossing the bridge to dine there. The staff were friendly and welcoming at check-in.

What we didn’t like: the bathroom space was tight, and no shampoo was provided. Also, be warned that things in the area tend to close relatively early, so plan accordingly

The view is just great! The breafast is average. It happens often that there is no-one at the Reception. but the staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is free.

The breakfast was average and can be improved. I wanted a cappuccino, it cost separate 2,5 euro We checked in at Easter time, so we didn't get a usual explanation about breakfast time, wifi code etc. I think more staff shoud be hired for peak time.

The room and view were amazing! We loved the balcony and would definitely recommend the suite. It was incredibly relaxing to sit on the patio to relax and enjoy the view. On top of that, the bed was sooo comfortable! There is no air conditioning but you really don’t need it due to the openness, ventilation, and breeze that come through.

We were really disappointed that we were only allocated four total pods of coffee for our entire stay. When someone pays for a suite (or any room) they should have access to coffee without paying. This is the first hotel where I’ve ever experienced this and I travel quite frequently.

Balcony and view excellent. Distance from town was perfect and breakfast was good, with a good selection or food

Very disappointed that whilst they provided a small bottle of water and tea and coffee as a welcome gift, it was not replenished during a 3 night stay and for 150euros a night its a very simple and cheap thing to continue for guests to enjoy. Having dropped something, under the bed was not clean at all and our socks were dirty after walking on the floor.

Nice hotel - a little difficult to get to but ok. Warm welcome and the parking we paid for (perhaps a little steep for one night) in their garage was good as far as security for the bikes was concerned.

A couple of the staff at breakfast were a little “cold” when asking for some things - appreciate they didn’t speak our language but a “warmer” Approach would have been nice

The hotel is in an exceptional location in Cochem really close to the train station on feet and also by car while the hotel also offers a restaurant with good food. I believe it’s a bit pricey but this is basically because of the location and Germany in general. However the staff was polite, friendly and really nice and helpful with anything we needed.

The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was delicious (although very tricky for vegans) and the location was good too!

We had booked a room for three people - 2 of which are over 1,90 m and the third bed was a tiny couch that was unfolded. It was not efficient for an adult and even for a child extremely uncomfortable. It was hard and kept moving while sleeping. Asking for a full price for the third person is not acceptable. Don’t say you can host three people in a room when you can’t provide a third bed!

Loved the location with a balcony over the river . The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The restaurant was very cosy . Within walking distance to the Altstadt and lots to do . Wifi .

Our room was quite small for 2 single travellers . The parking was tight but as expected in an older town like this .

Deluxe room was spacious, modern and well maintained. The air conditioning was appreciated. Cochem town centre and its main attractions were only a short walk from the hotel.

We only had a partial view of the river, when the photos and advertising led us to believe the room had an unobscured river view. Outside parking options were limited over the holiday weekend, necessitating additional and unexpected expense to reserve a garage space. The evening menu in the hotel restaurant didn't represent good value for money.

We had a great stay at hotel am Hafen. Our room was very modern, silent with airconditioning. The hotel had a nice terras, great place to sit and eat while looking at Cochem center. Nice and friendly staff members
