Staff was great. Shoutouts to the guy at the front desk/bar that was working there ~4PM 12.09 . and 1AM 14.09., very very friendly. Location was neat for access with tram 4 and for walking to Hbf for many more options. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable, window was openable. I appreciated the soap being properly split into hand / body / shampoo / conditioner as opposed to the trend of one bottle for all. They had an AC but didn't try it.

The bathroom light had a motion detector and no physical switch, and the mirror in the room was positioned perfectly so that when I woke up to use the bathroom, the light shone through the mirror to the bed and woke my partner up. I also generally prefer low / no light when using bathroom in the night, so I wish it had a physical switch. The walls were dirty, the bedsheets had coffee stains (no issues with that with me, but some may feel differently). The space age design is cute but does not work with the fact that the hotel is a subbrand of marriott. Various elements feel like they're designed by committees of older people with a young audience in mind, leading to a feeling of "how do you do, fellow kids?". Room amenities were on the weak side but not different than the norm.

Everything was clean and modern. The staff was friendly and always available. The location was very close to train station. Breakfast had decent variety.

Room had a very small trash bin with no bag, so I had to use my own trash bags. Sound proofing of the rooms is okay but could be better, I heard people opening doors, and could feel some movement behind the wall. The breakfast got a bit too crowded around 7-8am so there were no empty tables, and is a bit expensive (19€). Gluten-free bread is too dry.

The room was fine: comfortable bed and big enough. Bathroom also big and perfectly clean. The reception area was super good, with nice area to relax (table games, playstation, TVs, etc.), bar and possibility to have dinner which was also good. Lots of people around which makes spending the evening there alone less depressing. Personnel also very friendly.

Nothing in particular bad. The room may be a bit noisy if you keep the window open due to people downstairs, having e.g. drink in front of the hotel. If your room is in the back it's probably better.

This was our second stay at Moxy Darmstadt, and once again, we really enjoyed the stylish, space-themed decor and the well-thought-out common areas, which offer plenty of comfortable seating — ideal for remote working. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful, and we appreciated having two parking options: free street parking if available, or the convenience of the paid hotel garage. Our room and bathroom were very clean, and the included breakfast provided a generous variety of delicious choices. The overall atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, making it easy to relax after a long day.

During this stay, we were assigned an accessible room — although we hadn’t specifically requested it, it was probably the only double room available. While this wasn’t a major issue, the bathroom setup meant there was only a curtain around the shower area, and after just one person showered, the entire bathroom floor was wet. Additionally, there was very little surface space in the bathroom for toiletries, which made it a bit inconvenient.

The hotel is located about 30 minutes on foot from the city center, so dining and shopping options aren’t immediately nearby. The room itself was quite small — perfectly fine for one guest, and manageable for two if you’re only staying a night or two. However, the lack of cupboards or storage space made it less convenient for longer stays. I was also disappointed that I couldn’t regulate the temperature in the room; air conditioning appears to be active only during summer. Opening the window helped, but unfortunately the room was directly above the main entrance and smoking area, so cigarette smoke sometimes came in.

The genuinely kind, welcoming attitude of the staff at the reception (Bonny upon arrival, Salvatore at departure) attested to a great sense of respect towards and interest in me as a first-time guest at the hotel. (Information about breakfast options, streetside parking and a couple of tips regarding places to explore.) The lobby was relatively quiet but felt pleasant with some guests having drinks, others lounging. The counters with some finger foods and drinks are great and handy.

I likedd the neighbourhood (a new development with both office and residential buildings, I think) is perfect when you travael by car but somewhat remote from Darmstadt city center (but the city center is somewhat rundown and not that intersting at first sight).

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very modern and has a fun yet professional vibe. It is well located for organizations / companies in the area, short walk to the train station, easy access to the town centre.

Very minor points, both resolved. Unfortunately on arrival booking system was undergoing an update so unable to receive room key until the following morning. Non-smoking room had a smell of smoke, reported to staff and they were very proactive in resolving.

Room was cozy and clean. Very nice downstairs lobby area for hanging out. Friendly staff

Would be nice to have some additional table or closet for clothes and other things. There was only 3 hangers and it wasn't enough to hang jackets and other clothes. Lot of our things were just lying on the room floor. Cleaning service came before checkout time to knock on the door for cleaning and even opened the door, because we didn't realize to put the do not disturb sign on the door. It's good rooms are cleaned, but I found it disturbing that the cleaning staff came around 10 o'clock in the morning.

Very convenient location, comfortable rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, amazing breakfast (lots of variety, delicious food), welcoming lobby/lounge space, useful storage lockers. We were even offered a complimentary drink when we arrived!

Everything was perfect here. The location was enough (around 20min from Darmstadt Hbf / around 20min from hotel to downtown by CAR) All the staffs were so kind & they had a joke with Korean Language : ) Thanks a lot for kind greeting for me ~

It was great stay in Moxy Darmstadt, but the price was not enough cheap. I would like to have the breakfast in hotel, but my budget was not enough to add the breakfast this time. That is why I booked the room ONLY. For business trip, it would be really bit tought to add the breakfast, if we consider the budget.
