Clean and spacious room (with a lovely balcony!), comfortable bed and fresh linens, shared bathroom was cleaned regularly, very kind and friendly staff members (who kindly kept our luggage after check out - thank you!). During the whole trip, we only encountered one other person in the shared space so the private room/shared bathroom felt very exclusive. The private room faces the back courtyard, so its very quite and directly in the middle of the best neighborhood of Dresden (close to public transportation and around a 10 min walk from the train station/Flix bus station). Highly recommended!

Nothing to note, the experience was a very present and enjoyable one from check-in to check-out.

Everything was fantastic. I stayed in November, and my room's heater worked perfectly. Wifi speed in my room was fast and very stable! My room was a single room with shared bathroom, so I was put in a flat opposite the main building, and shared this flat with 2-3 other rooms. The bed was clean and comfortable to sleep in. Bathroom was sufficiently clean. With 3 keys in total needed to access the building, flat, and room, I felt very safe. And the lift was a huge bonus! A very quick walk to the main tram stop, and great Bio bakery in the corner. My room had 1 full length mirror, 1 drawer, 1 closet, 1 chair, 2 beds, 2 bedside tables, and multiple sockets. Absolutely fantastic place, I would definitely book again if I came to Dresden!!

I was not able to use the kitchen in my flat. While the main building's kitchen was perfect, it was a bit of a hassle to leave the flat and walk over to the opposite building every time I wanted some tea or cook a meal. I would happily pay a little extra for the convenience to use the kitchen in my room's flat. The single room doesn't have a desk/table. But you could use the chair as a table if you wanted to.

Clean bath rooms and toilets, room was also very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice location, the station isn't far from the Hostel. Lots of restaurants around and a lively neighbourhood with lots of bars and cafés. The room wasn't big but had everything I needed.

First day it was very hot outside (33°C) and in the room it felt even hotter 🥵 so wouldn't recommend if you are sensitive about hot temperatures.

In a great central location, the hostel is a great place to use as a base for exploring Dresden and particularly lively Neustadt. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms comfortable with lots of space and cozy beds. The wifi is fast and reliable and the breakfast nice - we enjoyed sitting in the breakfast room and listening to the radio.

One of our sheets had some small spots and the shared bathroom could get smelly rather quickly due to a lack of window and frequent use, but these barely detracted from our stay, as the place was overall very clean and well taken care of.

A cozy little place in an alleyway -- right in the super-cool area of Neustadt. Friendly staff ... comfy bed ... clean rooms & bathrooms ... quite a lovely breakfast ... small kitchen with free tea/coffee .... respectful hostellers... great internet ... a tv room to chill or do work ... I've stayed in a few hostels in Dresden & I much preferred "this" one ... it seemed more "quiet" considering that the outside area around the hostel is "very active" at night...

Probably another extension cord or plug in the room would be helpful ... having a staff member on-hand a little later at night would probably be helpful, in case someone runs into problems. I'm staying there again, soon, however, so these things are minor. The big thing for me was that I really liked the cozy feeling & I much preferred "this" hostel over the other one down the street.... ;)

The place was very well located, in the neighbourhood that offered many possibilities (Eritrean restaurant nearby), namely in the evening. The room had quite a nice atmosphere. We both agree (I don't mean the crow).

I put a cheese outside the window during the night. A crow came in the morning. Tried to eat it. I didn't like it. And now I have holes in my cheeses. The two mattresses on one bed (actually, the small gap between them) were somewhat impractical when you wanted to stealthily get closer to the other person lying there with you.

Good hostel. We stayed in double room and shared bathroom with two more rooms. There were no queues therefore. Location is great, close to tram station or within 20 min walk to city centre.

It's not about the hostel, but the street outside was very noisy. Our room's windows faced the street and it was very hard to sleep as there were people shouting till 2am almost every night.

The location was amazing, right in the heart of Neustadt Hippi Corner, surrounded by bustling restaurants, cafes, and bars. The double bedroom with a shared bathroom was super clean and quiet. The car park, at 8 euros a day, was reasonable compared to street parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended to family stays as well!

The only downside was the additional charge of 10 euros for the crib during our stay.

Nothing but good things to say. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was spacious and comfortable, location was close to public transportation and groceries/food, neighborhood was pleasant and colourful, shared spaces were inviting and useful, etc. etc. Just a fabulous hostel.

Rooms, location, staff everything was perfectly fine.

Though it was late check-in for me, there was no one to attend and it was clueless to me to check-in even though there was a key and instructions. It's hard to get the room without anyone's help.
