The breakfast was absolutely OUTSTANDING!! The staff was AMAZING! Very clean & quiet location. Amazing housekeeping staff...

Well bare in mind, we are most assuredly "spoiled Americans"!! Would have been nice to have furniture in which to place our clothing. Since the A/C was really not on until a couple of days prior to our departure, a fan would have been nice. Inconvienence without a fridge or microwave, but we did fine without it.

Room was decent sized and the bed was comfortable and plenty big. Aircon was a big plus as there was a heatwave at the time. Shower was fantastic, very good water pressure. Parking on the street next to the hotel is free for 2 hours and between 7pm and 8am (so if you park at 5 it's free all night).

Breakfast was a little minimal, there's a lot of choice of yoghurt but for everything else it's very basic for the price, could do with a few more cooked meats such as bacon or sausage, as far as warm there was only pancakes and eggs. WiFi barely existed; was completely unusable throughout the stay.

The outdoor space is for smokers. I was situated right above this and couldn't open my window in the evening. Also I couldn't eat breakfast outside because of the smoke. On Saturday morning I woke up due to constant doorbanging which was a bit painful.

Clean and spacious rooms, excellent common areas. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Location is optimal for getting in and out the highway but also very closed to city center

A coffee machine in the room would add comfort. Gym could be improved, very small and with very limited equipment

The location was perfect. The room was spacious and clean. All the amenities were there. The family room is perfect for a couple with a teenager.

The carpeted floors, no fridge and no safe deposit in the room. For a 1 night stay this was not an issue. For a longer stay these are a must have.

A good hotel. Rooms spacious and basic, but with everything you need. Air conditioning was good. The connecting rooms with children were nice. Breakfast was more than adequate. Very nice was the spacious underground parking, so we could safely leave our belongings. The town of Ettlingen is cozy with an old town center, with plenty of dining options.

A great stopover location for us. Interconnecting rooms, on a floor which seemed to be all families so was very quiet. Modern, clean hotel, good breakfast. Supermarket directly opposite. Easy walk into the cute town centre for dinner

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, making day trips to Karlsruhe city and the Schwarzwald region. The rooms were large and clean - our daughter was given an adjoining kids room which was connected to our bedroom via a door. Breakfast was good. The rooms were air-conditioned, which is a big plus for those warm summer nights.

Our room was 'open plan' which basically means the shower area and bathroom sink were integrated in the bedroom, without a separate bathroom door. This would have been a bit weird if you had your kids with you in the room but it was fine as our daughter had her own bathroom in the adjoining kids bedroom.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Safe parking underneath hotel (€15 extra though) which is great if you have a car full of holiday stuff. Breakfast was good and lots of choices

Only complaint is that the coffee wasn't very good
